This is one of my favourite albums of all time. I got my limited edition of it signed when I met Epica. I will never forget that day. Some people think Simone is rude, but she was very nice to me. This is hands down my favorite ballad written by Epica! 1) The music is top notch! Love how Epica just made this song so heavily strong on the Symphonic-ness of this song, that's the main reason why I love Epica in the first place. 2) Roy Khan, one of my top favorite male singers, is guest performing in this song with the amazing Simone Simons! I mean c'mon what more can I ask for!? =]
It was pretty awesome, They done lots of songs from this album, which was great for me as this is my favourite Epica album. Everyone was so nice & kind, I even got a big hug from Mark. I hope you will get to meet them as well. It's hard to imagine, but Simone is even more beautiful in person. I will never forget her smile & her laugh. She was captivated by my funky hat. I was too nervous to speak to her so she told me to smile & she spoke to me for a while.
They're the perfect symphonic metal duo. Absolutely golden, beautiful work...Roy Khan has been my biggest vocal influence; it is sad that he's not with Kamelot, but I can definitely respect that he needs to make time for himself and his family.
