Salina I will be moving to Cadiz in September. Gworl I am so anxious. I kind of want to make a deposit now to secure an apartment but everyone keeps saying not to but I don’t know what I’m going to do 😂
Sissss, don’t do it😭 I felt the same way last year before I got to Spain. The horror stories I’ve heard tho were TRAUMATIZING! Patience is key babe, for real for real🧘🏽♀️😂
Hi 🌸! This was such a helpful and informative video! I recently signed up for a TEFL course and my goal is to go to Spain. Random question😂 as I fellow POC I noticed you have gorgeous braids in all your videos. Are there places in Spain where you can get your hair braided or do you do your own hair?
Hiii! I’m so glad this video was helpful! But ahhh, thank youuu! For the braids, I usually do them myself but sometimes I also go to @nchama_trenzas (you can find her on ig) who is absolutely amazing.😭🫶🏽
Hey! Do you think paying a fee through Conversa Spain was worth it? I just applied for RVF and I don't wanna be scammed. They have a fee too, but I know NALCAP, for example, is free. What are your thoughts?
Hi!! I am actually going to post this EXACT video soon to share all my thoughts! But, I have heard people go through RVF and it's been fine! If it's your first time moving abroad then it's nice to have that extra support through a placement program like RVF, ConversaSpain, CIEE, etc...
In Madrid, auxes are paid € 1000! It differs per region. Yes, I paid for the placement program and then I am paid from being an aux with monthly stipend. There is a free placement platform through NALCAP as well!
Great video! So do you recommend connecting with someone on FB before getting to Madrid and then look for an apartment with them ? Also Ik this might differ by groups and stuff but in your Conversa Group was it mostly young or older people ? I am a 23 year old male and would like to like with someone close to my age. Thanks in advance
Thank you! Yes, I recommend connecting with someone on FB before getting to Madrid. As for Conversa, it was mostly young people ranging from 21-33, same for most of FB groups I mentioned in the description!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience!!:)

ahhh, i hope you found your place and had a better experience than me! did you end up booking when you arrived or did you book in advance?🙊

Solitude is important, however having a community is imperative. I made that mistake moving to Bogota. I won't make it moving to Barcelona. Thank you!

How much are these agency fees? From the real estate agents?
How much do you make as a language assistant approximately? So you pay for the placement program and then get paid by the school like a regular job?

@@justsalihaaa cool thanks ! Also would you happen to know if Puerta del Angel is a safe area ? It’s in La Latina if I’m not wrong
What about language assistants who are over 50?
What agency did you use?
