The older TWA fanbase is a mellow crowd, and we're happy to give congrats and offer background info, but unfortunately some of the newer fans from the smartphone generation lack basic social skills and grew up believing they're the center of the universe. The funny thing people forget is, Dust to Dust is the PROLOGUE of the story, and Dull Knives is the NINTH track of the album, hence the eighth part of the story. They sound GREAT together, as played at Pepsi Center, but they are out of context from one another. *Queen of the Murder Scene* - the album - is an incredible experience. It's 13 songs meant to be experienced as a story. It is a work of genius by two teens and a pre-teen. It spans the gamut of musical genres from arena rock, to folk ballads, to rock, to hard rock and metal, to demented cheerleader punk, and back to arena rock. The November, 2018, Lunario CDMX live show was its debut as a full album. They were 13, 16, and 18 at release. Watching those kids play 13 songs and kill it, interspersed with five songs from their first album, is a mind warp. The show is dark, raw, real, a bit rough in spots (technical issues), but emotional as hell. Pau opens and closes the story.
Nice reaction guys. That long wailing note of Dany’s is where Dust to Dust normally ends. It’s a great added transition to Dull Knives that fans had never heard/seen before ( unless they were at the Monterrey or Guadalajara shows, that led up to this one). Blending Dust to Dust into Dull Knives was a smart move, it flows well and the only criticism of Dull Knives I’ve heard is that it’s too short…

Great reaction, guys! The person that would fail at karaoke would also not be pounding on a drum kit!! The Warning has five concerts coming up in Mexico in February, three in Mexico City, one in Guadalajara, and one in their hometown of Monterrey, but good luck finding available tickets.
Lol. You guys mentioned Karaoke. One of my favorite aspects of following this band is seeing even younger bands that are inspired by The Warning doing covers of their favorite Warning songs. This is a favorite cover in that scene, and it is pulled off to varying degrees. Most are what you would expect, enthusiastic but lacking. Some youngsters do it well. No one can match DPA though. What these sisters are doing is unmatched. Sheer genius on display!

I think it’s the first time they did a 2 for 1 combo. Both songs are short and came from their concept album (Queen of the Murder Scene). Btw, there’s a vid where Pau lost a stick and used her hands to finish the song. She just usually breaks the sticks and drums (skins) from time to time. If you want to see her go ‘animal’ mode, there’s a short where she’s drumming standing up (‘Survive’ is the song).
Dust to Dust and Dull Knives must be played in succession. We can only assume you weren't notified by The Warning Army. All good. Also Pau rarely loses sticks. She rips them to shreds and they just break in two.

This song is so heavy & cool. An absolute showcase for each of them - instrumentally & vocally. Oh, and written by three teenage girls.
