One thing I haven't heard anyone talk about (apart from Dr. Steve Turley) is that George Soros (who had been funding all these globalists) has had to close down all operations in Europe with a loss of 40% of his global workforce. Never again will these people get the funding and backing that they've received for the last 40+ years.

Coming from Greece they should know what happens. After loading these countries up with foreign debt ( Euro denominated) as they can no longer issue their own currencies. The ECB just outright refuses to buy the bonds. They leave them at the mercy of the bond vigilantes.
They all come to heel and do what Brussels says. Thus,to be truly free and independent and be sovereign again it is imperative they leave the EU.Then the US will step in and threaten them.
      = No change.

It's no bad analysis, but it left some main points ! Eg. "Ibiza-affair", or that Freedom Party some years ago was against Neutrality and pro NATO, that there are again and again Party members showing clear "affinity" to Hitler, that Freedom Party made in a coalition with People's Party the candidate of this Party to chancellor although they were only third place at elections,... It's a populistic and opportunistic Party which cannot be trusted.

As a Swedish person, moving to Austria, to get away from clan-run communities/police/etc it is SO refreshing to see Austrian people - wide awake to what is happening - and acting on it - because, here you are not afraid to be called a racist when you vote for the FPÖ. Which was/IS the case in Sweden. In Sweden, the exact same thing happened, same type of problems and Sweden Democrats won, but did not get to rule - by foul play by the "old" "peoples party/Socialdemokraterna and their sidekicks. Truly horrendous that the peoples will/votes are not even respected!! Not only in France, Sweden and Austria - there will be a proper uprise if the political scene does not adhere according to the Voted results. Regardless of what is being voted about. The politicians are not respected when they play these globalist games. People are VERY tired of this nonsense.
Hopefully the results are sobering and that communications and collaborations for a renewed take on energy and trade with Russia and by all means Asia will flourish in a short while, leaving the sunken Nato ship behind. That is my wish.
Thank you for your interesting review of Austrian politics. Much appreciated.

The established parties always try to form a cordon sanitaire to keep the upstarts and 'extreme right' (their label of course) out. Which usually results in these new parties either splintering due to infighting, or......, growing so large, because the established parties keep on f***ing up ever more, that they can no longer be ignored.

As an Austrian who follows politics very closely, let me make a couple of points: It's not gonna be as simple to form a "coalition of the losers" as one might think. First, the Peoples Party and the Social Democrats only have a very narrow majority in parliament together so they would problably need a third party to govern effectively - making things even more complicated for them. Secondly, the Freedom Party already indicated that if they came in first and were not represented in government, people will go on the streets. I am not saying there is going to be a coup or anything but things in Vienna (where I live) could get rather uncomfortable especially for a loser coalition.

Keep the winners out and the losers will suffer an even bigger loss come the next election. Until eventually they end up becoming the minority. As happened in the Netherlands. But the damage done to our countries, economies and culture may be irreversible by that time. It may even be that the millions of immigrants imported by that time will vote establishment due to freebees and handouts given to them, forever changing the voting landscape. Probably what the establishment is aiming for.

Nonsense, 30% are no majority and can't dictate anything. If the bigger minority just rules that would be despotism, nothing else.

Great analysis as usual by Mr. Mercouris. Voice from inside Austria: The REMARKABLE succes of FPÖ ist mainly due to two reasons: First: ÖVP, SPÖ, Grüne implemented a mandatory corona vaccination. Only the FPÖ was against it. Second: The Austrians had best experiences with its neutrality. Only FPÖ (and KPÖ) made a clear commitment to neutrality.

Very succinct and intelligent summation of the political state of Europe at the end there. Democracy is of course a Greek word. It requires rule by the will of the people as a basic principle. The only way that we have (short of revolution) to express that will has been taken from us. We have "elections" but the chances of getting your voice heard or at least your preferred candidate elected are vanishingly small.

Agreed, I like the term suverains vs globalists. One could also call it decentralisation vs centralisation of power. Globalism undermines the national identity of countries by design. I'm Dutch, not German, and Germans aren't French, who aren't Spanish. I like all those different national identities. And yes through time those identities change, but changing it at the pace that the globalist want is already causing problems. For instance, Holland has quite a large indonesian influence in its people, language and culture. That is not a problem because we have built that in centuries of interactions through colonisation. They are a valued part of Dutch culture. And we also use indonesian words in the Dutch language. What's happening now in the elections, is that the people of a certain culture feel the need to defend their own culture because it's not done in a natural way. And has nothing to with white supremacy. It's very understandable.

He supported as a Jew the Pelestines - was a friend of Arafat - and brought as a neutral country the third afiliate of UNO to Vienna. I voted my whole life the social democrates. But sorry, Freedom Party cannot be trusted- during coalition with People's party they were against Neutrality, they even deleted Neutrality from Austria's Security Doctrine and replaced it with the aim to join NATO. This changed again in 2011 during Social democrat/People's Party coalition, when NATO was deleted and Neutrality again became core of Austria's foreign politics. Freedom Party are unfortunately only opportunists.
And remember, they even made Schüssel to chancellor, when People's Party lost election and were third place. Not to speak about Ibiza etc.

It seems to me that the gentlemen thought that people in Europe have a similar mentality as in the USA. That their native countries mean literally nothing to them, except that they were born there and come once in their life, because in America they constantly move across the entire continent for work. It is set up so that people are not tied to their hometown. So we all live as if the whole planet is one big multinational city. If people wanted that, that would be fine. However, people do not want that and what the globalists are doing is wrong. Let them inhabit their villas, castles and estates. A few thousand of them have as much money as all the workers of the world combined.

It is only the laptop classes in the big cities that have a globalist outlook. Also, even if you travel from Clownifornia to Texas to Vermont to Tennessee, it is still the same country. The EU is not a country, not even everybody of the EU laptop class sees the EU as a country.

Hard to imagine to Americans or Brits, where 1 party will get a majority of the seats, but in countries without 1st past the post this is not that uncommon. It usually sorts itself out when the losers lose even more come the next election to the point that they lose their majority.

I stopped watching these marionettes on the TV. All the same script and text. From antivaxx in one day we all changed to Putin-followers. Of course of rumble and telegram. I am happy because of internet you can find out the truth or my bubble. Maybe. But I found thousands and thousands who are the same. I am not allone. Thanks to Alex and many many more. Hoping for Trump and USA on 4th November it will be peacefully. No need of military on the streets.
