Genius! I just dont understand why all monitors dont have vesa mount options. How has yours held up over time? I drilled holes in to the back of an LG monitor and put a supporting plate inside (to spread the tension on the outer plastic) and now wish I'd put the plate futher down but the back is step shaped so I'm looking for an alternative method. Yours might do the trick, thanks for the inspiration!

Yes, it's been two years now, and It still going strong.
Can we remove the wooden plank after some use of time
I did not try it , the glue is very strong and removing the wood might peel off the plastic from the screen
