- Kaba Nui Paddle Crew Tuesday workouts at Leeway Beach in Long Beach. Here’s the workout:
1) 10 push-ups on the board, followed by a 100 yard paddle sprint in the water
2) 10 push-ups on the board, 10 burpees on the sand, followed by a 100 yard paddle sprint in the water
3) 10 push-ups on the board, 10 burpees on the sand, 10 leg lifts, followed by a 100 yard paddle sprint in the water
4) 10 push-ups on the board, 10 burpees on the sand, 10 leg lifts, 20 mountain climbers, followed by a 100 yard paddle sprint in the water
5) Finish with a 50 yard sprint on the sand
Each person does the #DunkandRecoverChallenge. How many times can you fall off your board and get back on?
Then we practice our pivot turns.
We finish with a 1-2 mile cool
down paddle.

How many sets of each do you do?
We actually stack each exercise on top of the next. So it works like this:
1) 10 push-ups on your board, then paddle sprint in the Water 100 yards.
2) 10 push-ups on your board, 10 burpees on the sand, then paddle sprint in the Water 100 yards
3) 10 push-ups on your board, 10 burpees on the sand, 10 leg lifts, then paddle sprint in the Water 100 yards
4) 10 push-ups on your board, 10 burpees on the sand, 10 leg lifts, 20 mountain climbers, then paddle sprint in the Water 100 yards
5) finish with a 50 yard sprint on the sand
Then we do the #dunkandrecoverchallenge, followed by 20 minutes of Buoy and Pivot turns. We then cool down with a casual 1-2 mile paddle
