- Biodiversity has loads of benefits. In this video we explore how we can maintain high biodiversity with things such as breeding programs and conservation. We also cover why these things don't happen as much as they should.
If you’d like to practise the material covered in this video, check out our platform at www.cognitoedu.org - it's totally free, and has been built to make learning and revision as easy as possible. The main features are:
- Lessons organised by topic, only the lessons relevant to your specific exam board and tier are shown.
- Automatic progress tracking. Progress bars tell you what you’re doing well at, and what you need to spend some time on.
- Practise quizzes so you can test your knowledge. You can quiz yourself on any combination of topics you like.
- A huge number of fully-hinted questions that take you step-by-step through some of the trickiest calculations & concepts.
- A comprehensive bank of past exam papers, organised both by year, and also by topic.

nah u need to revise
Thanks for the Video. I work in sustainable landscape development. One thing I'd like to point out. You say 'we need fertilisers and pesticides to grow food for everyone.' This is astatement that is in itself not true, especially when you mean non-biological pesticides and fertilizers. It really is a strong misperception and actually harms the biodiversity of any region to an extend that it is one of the #1 causes for biodiversity loss (since 1990 75% of the insect population in Germany died of with pesticides and industrial farming being the strongest contributors to this extinction). Those numbers can be transferred to basically anywhere where industrial farming practices are used.
Thank you for being mindful how you frame things and what you put into your videos.
buddy this is for gcses specification hes not going to make us fail the exams just so that the 1/10000 ppl that are adults watching this video get the satisfaction of learning something 100%
furthermore your whole point that your making is that hes wrong because fertilisers and pesticides are harmful for the environment, which is actually exactly what he said so maybe if you put more effort into listening to the yt channel meant for kids, and less time commenting, you woulve understood what he was saying
thanks for the unecessary info bud
People panic revising for mocks today
2024?
👉Caring for nature is also to stop eating meat and dairy NOW so as not to continue supporting the livestock business, which is the main responsible for fires and the deforestation of native ecosystems.
In 2020 in Argentina cattle ranching devastated half of the provinces with fire and for years they have been dismantling the north, every time we buy a steak or a carton of milk we pay them to continue destroying biodiversity.
