I just got a 2015 150, the thing is crazy! I use to have a 2004 DT 50 so it was a huuuugggeee shock moving from one to the other ! I’m excited to ride !!

I don't no why but I can't get myself to buy a 4 stroke I have 3 2strokes already a kx 60 a kx 80 and a kx 125 they are so fun lol next time I'll get a 4 stroke I promise

Yeah that’s one thing that sucks about them is that even the oldest ones are still the same price as like 2016 ones used in some areas so it’s hard to find good deals.

I mean the 150r is definitely more torquey and the 85 has more top end so I would assume the 85 has a higher top speed maybe but I really dont know. I’m sure you could look it up and find out as well!
They have different types of power the kx is probably better for motocross being lighter but if you are like a wheelie goon or you ride it on the street or trails the 150r would be better but the kx is better for track riding

What do you like better? I have a sx85 a sx105 and a yz125 thinking about getting a 150
Is the chassis of the crf150r bigger than the 85? Or about the same? Like from bars to end of seat length… looking for something that is just a bit longer than an 85 but about the same seat height. 85 feels too cramped, but a 125 2t or 2504t is too tall.
Idk about the size difference to be honest with you but maybe a KX100 or even the new 112

I have a kx85 and my friend has a 150rb and I rode his but I couldn’t tell which one had more power but I don’t like 2 strokes that much because of power and
What is better as a do it all bike cause I like riding track and going fast but I alsp do a lot of trail and pit/dune riding
I mean both are great bikes to do both of what you like but sometimes with trail riding a two stroke it gets hard, because your not always going fast and it could potentially overheat but that’s not likely going to happen! I think just lean more towards what you like and are more comfortable on and it will be a great choice either way!

I mean the 150R is a tad taller but it also depends on what your going to do with the bike, like riding trails or track and what not. If you like 4 strokes then you can get the regular size 150r which is a bit shorter than the one in the video, or the 85!

I mean if it’s in good condition and not a crazy high price then definitely, but while you decide always keep looking cause there will be better deals out there for newer ones!

The 150 has more bottom end torque but the 85 is faster top end. So if your always on it 85 is the way to go
I always hear about the CRF150R being hard to start and warming up, and this one started first kick, and warmed up with no issues. Do you have the stock jetting, or did you tinker with it?
They are def hard to start and warm up but in the video it was most likely already warmed up! Mines starts up quick but takes a bit to warm up, and yes all stock jetting and everything!
@@kevinriess I've heard that if you go from the stock main jet (38) in the carb to a 42, that it makes it a lot easier to start and warm up.

@@kevinriess I messed that up. The stock main jet is a 138. I think jumping up to the 142 main jet is what helps.
The most ideal jetting for stock or aftermarket internals is main jet at 140 and pilot jet of size 42.I have a full FMF system on mine and it runs amazing
How often do you replace you pistons in the 150

Never worth it to me because I always replace my top ends for 100$ and they last me 200 hours on my yz
Do you know what pilot jet is in the 85 because I bought a 17 85 and it’s super boggy unless I turn the air screw all the way in
I do not know what size jet is in there at the moment It would be stock size but I forgot it had a aftermarket pipe so the jets are probably tweaked a bit. If your having problems definitely open up the carb and clean it out and see what size jets your running and if they are different than stock buy new OEM ones! (Assuming your bike is completely stock engine wise)
Call pro circuit in California. They will tell u in 10 seconds
should i take the spark arrester out on my stock 150r and will i lose power if i do?
What I know is that stock 150rs don’t come with a spark arrester, or at least mine doesn’t. And if you do somehow have one, taking it out would really do nothing and mostly just make it louder and probably would backfire a little!

Its held up great actually, its what um using now to reply to this comment lol but the only thing I needed to do was add some extra storage since it started to slow down a bit since I had so many video's on here taking up a lot of space but other than that its never failed me. ;)

So I am 14 years old am I am getting rlly fast on my crf 110 and I think it’s time for a bigger bike I’m learning from my friends dad who raced many years so I want to get a crf 150 r I am 4’9 and 80 pounds do you think I could ride one or should I get a 85 instead?!
I mean I would definitely try to find one and see how you fit on it and see how you like it. It’s definitely a big jump from a 110 and these things will put you on your ass! But an 85 will do the same so it’s really whatever will fit you better and what you feel more comfortable on👍🏻

i’m conflicted, i’m choosing between a kx85 and 100 and don’t know which one i would have more fun on. i’ll be doing street riding because i’m from nyc and i’ll take it to the trails every once in a while. i like the powerband on the 85, is that a good choice?
@@armandhammer98 I mean if your a bigger rider than the 100 would be great! Not much different from the 85 just a bit bigger and a little bit more power. Would be perfect for both the trails and the street

I personally would choose the 150r just for its torque and capabilities. But whatever you like more 2 or 4 strokes!!

I mean the 85 was my friends so I honestly didn’t ride it often but the 150 is a great bike with amazing power and it’s very reliable, and the 85 is also a great bike for racing, and trail riding. But if I hat the choice between the two it would probably be the 150RB

I would say the 85, while the 150 has crazy torque and might beat the 85, in the long run I think the 85 is a tad quicker!

@@brycepro Check places like Facebook MarketPlace, OfferUp and Craigslist. Just check any trusted websites where people buy and sell, or even some Motorsport dealerships sell used ones, just got to always be looking for one!

Well look up and see if you have any motorcycle or Motorsport dealerships near you that sell Honda, they would most likely be selling 2021 150rs. If not sometimes people sell brand new ones on like Facebook marketplace!

@@axden.morales Well the difference between the 150r and 150rb is that the rb is the expert model and has slightly bigger wheels so it will fit a bigger rider. I have the 150rb in the video! And also yes you should go to your dealer and see if they can ship it or maybe go on their website and see if you can order one offline.. good luck!

But you have the choice of the regular size or the big wheel version but if you’re still growing and know your gonna want a bigger bike in e near future than maybe the big wheel but I would definitely go and see how you fit on both the sizes to see which one you like more! If you could anyway👍🏻
What one is faster?
I mean it already depends on gearing but both bikes completely stock, The 150 should go about 65-70mph and the 85 around 60-70mph. They both go around the same top speed!

How long does a full tank last u?
I mean on the 150 I really haven’t used a full tank while riding, but I’ve filled the tank up all the way a couple times and went to the trails for like an hour and there was still more than half a tank left!
I’ve heard people get around 40 miles to the tank while trail riding

I mean if your still growing and you know that you will need a bigger bike sooner then later then I would go with the 150RB but if you want to be more comfortable and your not growing that fast then I would go with just the regular 150R, it should fit you well!
