Calm and collected, - it was actually my reaction as well. I'm sure he is going to puke at the start 😊 It can't be easy being a parent and sending your son out there. With the relationship they have. With all the knowledge Petter have. I wish Oliver the best, and I hope Petter and Pernilla will be able to enjoy this to.
Thanks to DirtFish for this! I have always enjoyed Petter and he's so positive. Oliver has a wonderful legacy to build on and I'm completely behind him, GO OLI!
a few people I have known around the sport have bumped in to Petter and they have all said just a naturally nice guy and that has always how he has come across as here. Good luck Oliver and Petter too. rally people come across as ordinary motorsport enthusiasts turned in to people's hero's somewhat different to people from other world levels in MS.
Petter Solberg is so humble. I'm super happy to see Oliver taking his opportunity to show the world what he can bring to the table, especially at a young age. Anything is possible. Wish him all the success in 2021 and beyond.
I'm not that long into WRC, like 2-3 years now. But Oliver was easily my favorite driver from the beginning. This young men got a huge career in fromt of him. Wish only the best!
With kids you never know. How true. I'm 68 son is 35. I've been following wrc , formula1 for many years. Never raced just enjoy auto racing. I'm in ct so I go to lime rock , Stafford springs raceway. Went to walkens glen raceway once
Oliver is a talented guy, there's no doubt about that, I hope he succeds in the future. He has quite a legacy to build on and many expectations to live up to!
I hope Oliver breaks all your (wrc) records Petter. I'm so excited for this weekend. Hoping Oliver gets a clean run. And by the look of your calm (acting), I'm more nervous than you 😅 🤘
Petter, big respect!.👍🏼👌🏼 Now Oliver has a great chance to show that he will still be the top driver in the world championship (still in this season's WRC class and what is now from 2022 onwards...hybrid), (hopefully in the HMSG Hyundai Motorsport team/stable🤔).
In 1999 (I think?), Petter almost got yeeted from his team because he refused to drive slower on a stage of the Safari rally. His boss (I think Malcolm Wilson) was very unhappy. I think that also qualifies as a "mistake", even if it doesn't result in a crash.
Legend, Petter is.. Interesting to see him so calm, and collected. Much respect for you, Petter and Oliver.

I met Petter at WRC Finland in 2004 holding Oliver as a child. A gentleman then, a gentleman now!
Such a great family. So nice that Oliver chose this route backed 100% by mum & dad. Don’t be shy Petter, always great to see & hear from you.
that smile show..petter so proud with oliver..my first rally driver i know petter solberg...
You're incredibly lucky Petter. I lost my son 2 years ago and my world was blown apart. Enjoy him, whatever he ends up doing
Once again, you guys bring us a unique perspective from behind the scenes.
Hope to see Oliver back for events in the US, too

This is such a great UA-cam page, actually better that WRC+. You guys need to have a show on TV.
My Legend. If one day I become a Rally Driver, it will be thanks to him.❤
It will be thanks to you.

Future world champion The WRC Like father Like Son 🥇
Legend👍🏻
Brilliant
Oliver gets handed the keys to a rally car before high school. Wish I had an opportunity like that.
Pointless if you can’t drive!
So... Who is that fisherman?.. ;) Miss you, Petter! Good luck to Oliver!

Nice 👍
when he says mistakes, i get this feeling he means crashes
In rallying making a mistake usually means contact with the scenery. Then you can only hope it's something soft and not flying off a cliff face.. 😮
