Jeju Island day two at Seogwipo continues. Previously we rented a car and left Jeju city we visited Cheonjiyeon Waterfalls with its amazing waterfalls, nature and views.

Seogwipo was hot and the best way to cool down was to grab a cold a delicious Bingsu. Korean desert chain Sulbing Bingsu can be found around the country and they serve one of the most epic deserts in the world Korean Shaved ice called Bingsu. We ate their matcha bingsu with matcha ice cream on the top plus a Korean-filled pancake called Hotteok.

We headed to Olle market to get something savoury. Olle market is the centre for all fresh goods, street foods and fish at Seogwipo. We recommend getting a bag of seasonal citruses because you can not get them anywhere else outside of Jeju. Olle market provides a lot of local snacks, before buying the locals offer a taste to make your decision. To our luck, we met a friendly owner couple who after buying our box of treats gave us 3 boxes of snacks as a service.

We ended the day at a local Sushi restaurant where the king of the dish was abalone rice with fish eggs. The abalone rice was buttery, savoury and so so pleasing. Jeju sushi is fresh, and flavourful and should be eaten as much as possible.

When in Soegwipo city and close to Olle market then we recommend visiting Lee Jung Seob museum and his house.
Lee Jung Seob (1916 - 1956) was a Korean artist, most known for his oil paintings such as "White Ox".
