everyone please educate your self about the cruelty that the poor donkeys go through.. and not go for one of these rides.. it'l be good to climb your self and get a good work out instead of torturing the poor animal to carry your weight all the way up..
Local guides will tell you -- "Don't ride the donkeys!" Not only is it cruel, but several people get badly hurt doing that crap every summer. Watch them going down and you will see how their hooves slip on those cobblestones constantly. Besides the cruelty to the donkeys, it's really not that safe.
I booked a trip to Santorini and now I'm kinda regretting it. It looks like there is nothing exciting to do and the beaches look like crap to be honest. There is a beach 20 minutes from my house x100 better than those 😣 I just hope I won't be disappointed because the trip isn't cheap.
