😂 yes. Its so funny the BTS. I check back the archaeology of JPM. Haha ~ they on camera since 16/17.. "teacher" is 17 years old and Wei Qian 16 years old. It so cute to look at ghe whole picture how things come around

Ikr i mainly watched it because of chris Chiu he's too cute and handsome (and because it has the same director as WBL)but at last I was obsessed with the series,the cast, direction,writer and novel 💀

This show is much more than romance, it’s mainly focuses on broken found family also it’s heavily implied in the show and said in the novel that Qian mother se*ually assaulted him.

Honestly I don't think so that even the younger brother had feelings for the older brother when they were young. Also the doctor was the main lead of Taiwanese bls. We best love and fighting Mr right.

I just finished it and can say it’s my fave bl of the year so far. Taiwanese bl series never disappoint

The story is so much more~ i read the novel. The ZhiYuan abducted by traffiker since baby, have go thru many families, almost die coz overheard the boy is "useless" will organ Har*est. He runaway, many many people he encounter until Wei Qian family, yes puppy pity keep on barge into Wei Qian house 🏠, Lili too young but she open the door let Zhi Yuan in and stay there in his lifetime. He is nameless, missing baby, in novel he very quick in runaway when things off. But Eei Qian just do his things basically and Yuan felt secure with him and working hard to "barge" into yhe home.
Oooo as a novel reader do you think they did a good job with the show?
@@BriPhilTVofficial I not sure about others. Myself I like it because I feel good to watch at it. It did not give me stress or weird vibe. The house is clean, the songs is comfortable, actors are decent. Taiwan show prefer a lot of flashback as if I am dump ( long ago I watch 60 episode also haven't finish because too much flashback ). This one still hold some Taiwan style but they do it to make us understand the feelings they hold. Instead last time I could sense they did so much flashback to hit "their episode KPI" ( use as much airtime as possible to drag the show to hit that 1 hour mark per episode ) . Somehow 12 episode is also way too short~ what a dilemma 😂😂
things i like to point out:
wei qian looking older by a lot is because the fight scenes are important and having the main actor act it will make more sense
in the novel their age difference is like 5-6 years
the mom died from drug overuse
for the 100 marks thing, back then if u were poor u don’t go to school so the mom is having an inferior complex because he is smarter and will probably have a brighter future than her

The male lead is literally the Doctor Lin you're seeing in preview.
It is the best tiwanese bl you can ever watch.
And Unknown is a close second to it.
Omg yes! It's one of our top fav Taiwanese BLs too. We didn't realize until later that the doctor was Sam! 😂 We were like OMG no wonder we were simping over him lmao Can't believe we didn't recognize him haha

Aaand, another thing. The "random restaurant guy" is actually a important novel character that they cut out of the drama. Qian, San Pang and him (Ma Zi) were best friends since little kids. They cut quite some people out of the drama, unfortunately

The novel is more about life and Qian's hardships growing up and raising them, than the romance. From 700 pages, the romance starts at the last 100. It's really a criticism about society, the unfairness some people go through and why people make the choices they do. It's beautiful, u should give a read. All Priest (the author) novels are

I missed Gao Shi De and Zhou Shu Yi. They had one of the best chemistry and the acting was on another level. I hope one day we have a chance to see SamYu together again 🥹
