My kit is mostly in my wallet… quick clot, Benadryl, condom, then for hunting I throw in tape which is better for blisters than moleskin anyway, sewing kit (again dual purpose), paracord, iodine which is good for water purification as well as preventing infection, and chest seals. Also keep chest seals in the center console. Just as side note, I have heard it’s very difficult to effectively put a tourniquet on yourself because it hurts more than the wound. I can apply a pressure bandage with paracord or tape. Remember the knowledge aspect too, especially if you’re solo. Think self Heimlich or self heart attack techniques. Knowledge and research can also help you build your own kit and that is probably the most important thing as you will save precious seconds not digging around and looking at everything in your kit that you’ve never opened.
I just remembered too, research your dangerous snakes and insects and know the appropriate actions for their bites/stings. For a western diamondback for example, your first aid response is your truck keys and a nice slow heart rate on the way there. Probably 911 if you’re a long walk in. Hope this helps.
As a watcher from the UK 🇬🇧 you had me super confused as moleskin is a type of fabric commonly used in hunting trousers, I couldn't work out how it would be used in a first aid kit and had to Google it, to find out you meant blister plasters 🤣🤣🤣
WE NEED 284 WINCHESTER PODCAST!:)

That .41 rem mag tmt is coming soon, I feel it.

The clotting powder/ dressings are something I really want in any kit like that.

Just remember, if you use that quick clot stuff, it has to be cut out if you later.. So don't dump it on anything you don't want to loose. ;-/
