I just bought one exactly like this but with different 19 inch wheels! Dark blue with white leader and on 15K miles on the clock. Can't wait to pick it up, so excited!

I'm buying a 2015 CLS 350d this weekend and super excited. Done 80k miles and has a few age related scuffs but the 9 speed box suits the 3 litre diesel motor so well. Really excited to get it.
That's exciting! The 9-speed gearbox paired with the 3-liter diesel engine is a fantastic combination. Are there any specific features you're particularly looking forward to in your CLS 350d?

Excellent review. I have only one gripe with it: Why do you keep comparing it to the 5 Series GT ? The BMW equivalent is the 6 Series Gran Coupe. It is most certainly it's main and direct competitor. The Audi A7 is also in the same class...true, but taking into account the sportback (hatchback) boot, it's not the 1:1 rival as the 6 Series.
Great review but totally agree similar to the 6 series Grand Coupe not the 5 series GT. But enjoyed the review ...from CLS 250 owner

@@johnhoey4605 I have had mine for two years have had apsalutly no issues , the car is bullet proof ! last car was a Range Rover , never again , next car another CLS !!!!
I have this exact vehicle in a 550 4MATIC version all the way down to the factory wheels (that I’ve never seen anywhere except here)
I literally came here before and after I purchased it for reference on how to operate it. Thank you more than you know this vehicle is quite a bit difficult to set up

Sadly at 8.06 Mercedes mandatory orange peel in paint work, maybe Renault could paint them for Merc. Seems to have best Quality/ looking paint finish at the moment.

Was looking for a CLS350 shooting brake to replace my S204 C220D estate which I've owned for 5 years. Does make a compelling case when you compare it to a S205 C Class, given what you get dynamically and in terms of refinement and finish.
Did you get the shooting brake ? how do you find it.

The term sport saloon is a subjective term for a sedan/saloon car which is designed to have sporting performance or handling characteristics.
Just bought a 2014 CLS 550. They ruined 2 things in 2015; the engine and the headlights.
Can you explain ?
@@pridify the duel row LED constellation was replaced with some boring “angry eyes” LED brows and the M278 V8 Twin Turbo (500/550) was eliminated as an option, leaving a 3.0L V6 the highest engine option before having to go AMG for more acceleration performance.

I have a 2015 black cls 220d it's okay but the command system is fiddly, all the buttons look dated, I don't like the fake wood or the very old fashioned handbrake system

Doesnt help i come from q5 but i like the command system and its simple to use and responds very fast.the buttons may be dated but this is just a facelift the new model is ablut 120% more expensive
