Man, it is really refreshing seeing someone who ISN'T constantly shouting about how PB is a bad character.
"King Worm" has AN INSANE amount of foreshadowing for events that will happen soon, so I'm really excited to see if you'll pick up on them once they happen!
I'd love to see people who arent dropping casual spoilers that something is foreshadowed, it ruins the point of foreshadowing the surprise

Man, it's amazing how many foreshadowings and explorations of Finn's character were put in "King Worm". And it's not surprising at all, as King Worm was sucking Finn's thoughts and connection to the universe. And it was so nice to explore the bond Lady Rainicorn and Princess Bubblegum share. Bubblegum is indeed badass.

I love how they went all the way back back to Marceline's introductory episode to give the joke at the end some pay off. That's great writing and attention to continuity. BMO Noire is really good too. Old timey detective stories have always been one of my favorite genres, and this is a perfect parody of that. Also, love seeing Lady Rainicorn and PB go on an adventure together. And that reveal at the end is iconic.

With the context of knowing lady was pregnant the whole time it makes it even more fucked up when Ricardio twisted her into a pretzel

What the hell 2 adventure time reactions in one day I'm in heaven
Bubblegum absolutely destroying Ricardio is a crazier after finding out Lady was pregnant and she knew it. Her friend and her friends children being put at stake is likey what put her over the edge rather than just Ricardio's unwanted advances. People who think she's irredeemably evil haven't seen this episode enough.
People love to talk about how King Worm is full of foreshadowing, but never bring up the part where the whole episode was directly inspired by the writers watching UA-cam Poop videos. That's why the episode feels so excessively weird. It was written to match the haphazard style of YTP, while still having a coherent story. What a cool concept!

- Jake in the title card can be seen holding the lipstick which the spiral he draws on his face can be a reference to Dark City
- King Worm is voiced by Erik Estrada who is famous for playing Ponch from the series CHiPs & he also voices Marco in Sealab 2021, but with the fact that while Finn dreams he sucks his life force maybe inspired by Mara a lady from Germanic folklore where she turns dreams into nightmares while draining your life

From my experience the King Worm episode really nailed what dreams are like pfff
Ice king, magic man and a lot of the candy people and side characters are voice by Tom kenny aka spongebob. It's hard to tell though because he's that good at different voices but the laugh pattern and style can give it away sometime. If you hear a character laughing very similarly to ice king or spongebob then it's probably tom kenny
