@BbeeM I agree to a certain extent but it's time we tell our African stories ngamaLanguages ethu, whoever doesn't understand akhona amaSubtitles, it's time to do away with those limitations.
The cinematography on this production is world class. Im really impressed, you guys are really doing the most. This production is better quality than 99% of the stuff I see on DSTV even. I wish SABC or MultiChoice can commission this production to broadcast on TV so that people can see the struggles we go through as drivers.
He said "kuhlekwa noma kufiwe" followed by laughter. He then wiped his face followed by a blank face, filled with reflection of his traumatic experience. Sad reality of our hustling brothers.

Yoh!!! hayi kodwa our South African Police Service is such a mess and it's so disappointing. It really is painful to see what the drivers are going through and how unprotected they are. Also nje the nerve of these guys acting like they're his friend meanwhile they know they're about to unleash hell on him. You honestly can't trust ANYONE anymore in this country. Great production once again.

In Kenya, driving for Bolt is like pounding water in a mortar. You slave all day and sometimes all night but end up simply bushed and nothing to show for it. I only turn on their up when I find myself dropping another worthwhile rider in far off destinations, just to see I dont drive back alone. Bolt, keeps the tips and also NEVER re-embarses drivers after offering discounts to clients. Bolt operations needs to be kicked out of Africa.@@andi_mizberry

4:16 another thing that ruins this e-hailing industry is the renting of cars. You guys expect to eat while your owners also want to eat, that's why the money will never be enough to cover for everything. e-hailing was meant for people with cars that are looking to make an extra income. Thats why bolt drivers are always complaining about prices to a point where they just end up quitting. If you want to join e-hailing join it with your own car don't rent it from an owner.
I did Bolt for 6 months, all i can say is i have never made close R25 000. I am shocked when i see all the ads. Bolt takes so much money for commission, after petrol you are left with nothing. Its horrible and dangerous driving Bolt, i dont recommend it for anyone. there are much better hustles out there. Not to mention how my new car nearly became old in just 6 months of horrible roads. Forget about insurance. Bolt Only cares about their client. Ohh did i mention, in that 6 months, when customers give tips through the app, Bolt take it for themselves. No one can make R20 000 a months with 3 customers sharing a R50 ride. Its a rip of.
I've been on bolt for 4 weeks now. Working from 7am to 8pm (Taking 2 hours rest in between), I take home R850 everyday.
