this is probably the most powerful theme i've ever heard in a video game. just the way it captures your heart with the main part

its sad aashraf had to leave due to his affair...what he did was wrong but i hope he learns from it a comes back a better person...atleast we have darby for now and that new girl dev who seems pretty invested in the AC lore

@@Lord_ofcinder They won't let him back. I personally believe art and work should be separated from personal life, and his consequences should be limited from the workplace. He is a great artist and we shouldn't ignore it. However, what he did was undeniably wrong and he should face the appropriate consequences for it.
You know what? This soundtrack will serve the status of being legendary just like that AC-2 soundtrack did. This is on par with our AC-2 soundtrack. I pre-ordered the ultimate edition of this game. I have faith in Ashraf Ismail, Darby, and their whole dev team of Ubisoft Montreal. Ubisoft has my support.
A general rule I have is that every other AC game is gonna flop in some big way (IE III then Unity, and Odyssey) vs my personal top 5 AC games (AC1, AC2, AC Black Flag, AC Origins and then its extremely likely to be Valhalla which is what Odyssey should have been)

Gr8Sc0tt you actually have those flipped, every game Ashraf has worked on have been duds in the series (Revelations was the worst of the Ezio Trilogy, Black Flag had no idea what direction it was going in with the Observatory and John Standish, Syndicate was alright in ancient era but modern day was just cutscenes, and Origins continued the lack of modern day and was again an alright game yet SEVERELY pales in comparison to Odyssey!)
What we need is none of Ashraf and more of the Odyssey team, and now that’s exactly what we’re getting!!!

I am SO happy Ubisoft got Jesper Kyd back, man I love that dude's music. The old Assassin's Creeds and Darksiders 2 are some of my favorite soundtracks ever. And pairing him with Einar Selvik for Valhalla is just awesome overload for me.
Just like Star Wars, whether you love all 9 movies or not, you can’t argue how amazing they are with John Williams...same with Assassin’s Creed with Jesper Kyd!!

Einar Selvik is not the one doing the soundtrack, the production and composition is by far the hardest part and that’s being done by Jesper Kyd.

A good soundtrack adds so much to a game that would otherwise be average honestly. Jesper Kyd's soundtrack even made a shit game like Darksiders 2 enjoyable just to play along with his music. HYPE

All Jesper fans, check out the soundtrack from Tumbbad - a hindi film he did back in 2018 - it's just as badass as you'd expect from him, and he's legit very proud of it (rightly so).

I'd actually say its closer to the Last Kingdom. The female vocalist in this track is on the soundtrack of Last Kingdom

Chill out it's only previews to give us an idea for the atmosphere of the music. So far it's amazing and phenomenal. Im sure when the game comes out, the complete soundtrack will come out.
