All the moody side effects come from increased estrogen. So how long would someone take anastrozole with it to reduce estrogen? Second question. Why not just cycle it to prevent side effects? Take clomid for 2-3 weeks, stop for 6-11 weeks and take it again for 2-3 weeks.
I've been taking Clomid for a few weeks and spiraled into one of the worst depressions I've ever had. No energy, no libido, insomnia. Pretty terrible overall, also on Anastrazole.
I suffer from the cluster headaches that you mentioned near the beginning of the video, and I also just started treatment with both clomiphene citrate and T injections. The headaches have almost entirely gone away. Now, I have only been taking the hormone treatment for about a week, but there was an immediately noticeable difference. I didn't specifically begin the HRT to treat the headaches, but it has turned out to be a wonderfully serendipitous "side-effect"!!! Those headaches are absolutely horrendous, so it would be a miracle if this kept them at bay for good.

Look into Enclomiphene, more preferable than clomid for secondary hypogonadal men. Doesn’t have the “zuclomiphene“ isomer which provides the undesirable side effects of clomiphene. Edit: I see you do have a video of enclomiphene.

@@elck3 No, I didn’t stop Clomid. I just take 25mg daily now along with 100 mg of test cyp once a week. My levels did improve with just the Clomid alone to 670 but I didn’t feel any better. So we cut the dose in half and started injections.
I've been on clomid for 2 plus months. My testosterone was 50 yesterday at 4 months. I feel.like shit, horrible anxiety and luckily I see Dr at 9am. I'm done trying to naturally start my testosterone. I'm 44 and I fried my ability to create testosterone.
I think it takes a long time to restart. My Testosterone is at 191pmol/L after 2 months coming off of trt. But my test also revealed I had an underactive thyroid, so that may have been masked by trt, (plus I rarely got it tested) I went on thyroid hormone and it's been almost 4 weeks and I'm feeling much, much better. I don't know if it's the thyroid medication, or if my testosterone is rising or a combination of both. I'll find out when I retest in a month.

HCG can shut down the hypothalamic-pituitary gonadal axis and guys tend to have more side effects in my experience. Enclomiphene is also cheaper and easier as its oral and not an injection. Wow Doc, great information, I'm currently seeing a Urologist about this exact topic which lead me to your page, in my early 30s, T came back at 187, FSH and LH were low, feel like im having fertility issues, that's still being tested, I had gynecomastia surgery a long time ago in my 20s because it bothered me so bad, and I think it all gets back to these topics here today, the Enclomiphene citrate is really interesting to me and I will be asking my Dr about that before I take the Clomid. I'm a relatively happy person and all this depression talk has me spooked and certainly the blurry vision. I know its rare but still holy shit can you imagine if that happened permanently just to boost some sperm and higher T, not worth it to me

Hi, Michael. Did I get correctly that you personally use Enclomephene? And what do you usually prescribe? I am 34 and LH is not far from bottom line. I tried clomid in big doses (100mg). Energy results were awesome. Had some side effect. Than I stopped. Starting lower doses soon. Also will change it to tamoxifene and back. With 1-2 weeks pauses.
I use Enclomiphene with my patients and often start at 6.25mg once daily and will go as high as 25mg daily. There is diminishing return and for most guys 12.5mg daily is the sweet spot.

I always got horrible side effects form Clomid. And once you stop, your T drops anyway. I wrote for the bodybuilding mags back in the early 2000's and often spoke about how it isn't advised for PCT -- which upset the resident message board gurus. But people are now starting to see what a terrible drug it is.

I'm sorry but I can't keep track of if you're referring to the effects of clomiphene or enclomiphene. Maybe I'm wrong but enclomiphene has a much smaller conversion to zuclomiphene and estrogens according to most of the research I've seen.

I took it consistently for 6 weeks before stopping. I started feeling terrible at week 4. Then it took about 1-2 months after stopping to feel somewhat normal again. I then tried to use way lower doses, like 12.5mg once a week for 1 month still didn't feel good.
This is the only place I've seen night sweats and chills listed as side effects. That's exactly what I've experienced on clomid, but can't find it listed anywhere else. Is this more based on what men have reported rather than research?
At 28 my tes was only 180 . An we test three months later it was 200... So they gave me clomid cuz I still want to have a child... An ive been taking it every other day. For a month I pray it works
If your suffering from low -t for such a long time. Then take what your doctor asks u to take. My understanding is that 20 to 30 year olds should stay away from it. Because none of these things are going to work if you don't need them. But if your late 40's+50+60. I don't here many complaints from them at all.

In my patients, I've seen Clomid make some guys feel like absolute garbage. I we don't use Clomid under any circumstances anymore with my patients. Only enclomiphene.

If the goal is fertility and conceiving a child, you will likely have to use Clomiphene for at least 4-5 months to see improvement. Keep in mind it takes 72-90 days for medication and lifestyle changes to have any positive effect on sperm parameters, because of how sperm production works.
I have been having ED and low libido for some months now. I did my hormone profile show low FSH. I suspect I got the ED from a contaminated(steroid). Will clomid help?
ummm if you were taking hormones(Steroids), it may of shut down your own natural production of testosterone, which can lead to ED. Clomid can help rekick-start it. For my patient, I would have them take enclomiphene and remeasure their FSH/LH in 3 months.
Feedback: took clomid for about 5 50mg and 25 for about another five days. Along with daily dose of tadalafil 5 mg for about a week. I have noticed strong erections at dawn which became less strong after going of bother medications. But I have better erections now of all medications. The libido not so sure.
Doc, hypothetical exercise, if "your personal" total testosterone was 226 (normal age 40 was 264-916ng/dl) and "your personal" prolactin levels were 20.8 as a 40-year-old, 274lbs 5'11 male; (*this is not medical advise you'll give me or anyone, yes); a) would you say Enclomiphene Citrate 25mg (3 times a week) and 0.25 ml of testosterone cypionate is a "fine option" or "at least as likely as not" a better option than clomiphene citrate at 50mg a day? P.S - Please take into consideration this 40 years old guy is you, not me or any of us, just a fun exercise here. No other health issues other than 1) hypogonadism diagnostic 2) sperm count at 37,200,000 and 3) severe OSA w/ Cpap machine. So no real reason to use enclomiphene and testosterone together unless you need estrogen modulation. Clomid withdraw is probably the worst thing in the world i stop july and I still feel the effects in September libido still shut down and fatigue is still there
I would estimate that the withdraw is losing the effects of Enclomiphene and still having the effects of ZuClomiphene in your blood for several months.

I’m 28 years old, went to a men health clinic last week and my test was at 302. I was prescribed 100mg of testosterone a week. Received my first dose. Went back 4 days later for a full blood panel and my LH was at .5. She suggested giving clomid a try because my LH was so low. Does this sound right?

Could be either the Clomid or Anastrozole. I don't use either in my practice.

Clomid increased my test from 290 to 1187. However it triggered hair loss. Any advise?
Sounds like you're sensitive to DHT. Talk with your doc about some topicals.

I almost never block estrogen, I haven't seen a case using Enclomiphene that would need it.

We don't really know COMT is also responsible for estrogen metabolism.

If the goal is fertility and conceiving a child, you will likely have to use Clomiphene for at least 4-5 months to see improvement. Keep in mind it takes 72-90 days for medication and lifestyle changes to have any positive effect on sperm parameters, because of how sperm production works.
Ive been using it and test is increasing but im more anxious, no libido, and more moody and irritable.

I have been having ED and low libido for some months now. I did my hormone profile show low FSH. I suspect I got the ED from a contaminated(steroid). Will clomid help?
ummm if you were taking hormones(Steroids), it may of shut down your own natural production of testosterone, which can lead to ED.
Clomid can help rekick-start it.
For my patient, I would have them take enclomiphene and remeasure their FSH/LH in 3 months.

Feedback: took clomid for about 5 50mg and 25 for about another five days. Along with daily dose of tadalafil 5 mg for about a week. I have noticed strong erections at dawn which became less strong after going of bother medications. But I have better erections now of all medications. The libido not so sure.

Doc, hypothetical exercise, if "your personal" total testosterone was 226 (normal age 40 was 264-916ng/dl) and "your personal" prolactin levels were 20.8 as a 40-year-old, 274lbs 5'11 male; (*this is not medical advise you'll give me or anyone, yes); a) would you say Enclomiphene Citrate 25mg (3 times a week) and 0.25 ml of testosterone cypionate is a "fine option" or "at least as likely as not" a better option than clomiphene citrate at 50mg a day? P.S - Please take into consideration this 40 years old guy is you, not me or any of us, just a fun exercise here. No other health issues other than 1) hypogonadism diagnostic 2) sperm count at 37,200,000 and 3) severe OSA w/ Cpap machine. (*please let me know where can I donate or pay fo this fun exercise, your answers will not be medical advise)
So no real reason to use enclomiphene and testosterone together unless you need estrogen modulation. From what i've seen enclomiphene or clomid will not keep you fertile on TRT.

Clomid withdraw is probably the worst thing in the world i stop july and I still feel the effects in September libido still shut down and fatigue is still there
I would estimate that the withdraw is losing the effects of Enclomiphene and still having the effects of ZuClomiphene in your blood for several months.

I’m 28 years old, went to a men health clinic last week and my test was at 302. I was prescribed 100mg of testosterone a week. Received my first dose. Went back 4 days later for a full blood panel and my LH was at .5. She suggested giving clomid a try because my LH was so low. Does this sound right?
I haven't seen Clomid keep men fertile or their LH/FSH in the normal while on TRT. We use HCG with my patients.
