Taking to social media, Biden announced his acceptance of CNN's invitation, reminding Trump of his previous declaration: "Anywhere, any time, any place." Biden's campaign had earlier urged Trump to participate in two presidential debates hosted by news organizations, bypassing the Commission on Presidential Debates' scheduled fall debates.
