I’d love to see more of this content from you. Maybe shorter, in-depth ID of wild edibles. I’m in SW Ohio (West Chester, Butler County) and I found this video incredibly helpful.
Cool, lotta great plant id. Wish I had this kinda video years ago when all we had was a field guide book with a single sketch or photo and maybe a friend or two to check in with..
I have had several people ask me about that so I may start doing that sometime in the future. I will definitely get the word out there when that time comes. Thank you for the interest!
@@LanternLighterRanch I am located in north west central area of Ohio in Wyandot county. I currently do not offer any wild edible classes but, will probably start doing that sometime in the near future. I would definitely put the word out there. Thank you for the interest!
@@joshrobsonwildcache I'm in southeast Ohio. If you decide to do this please let me know, I'd probably be able to get a small group of people together that would be interested also.
I speak quietly whenever I’m in the forest to minimize disturbance. I enjoy the sights & sounds of nature, as do many of my video viewers on here I assume. I try not to spook away the wildlife. I hope that you still found some appreciation & value in the video. Thanks for watching & have a good day.
Thank you! Seeing the plants as if you are on a hike is extremely helpful! This video is packed with excellent information. ❤
@@tarajoyce3598 that’s awesome! Thank you!
This was super helpful! I’m looking forward to more! Maybe I’ll finally be able to figure out what all grows in my backyard!
This was the most informative video I have ever seen so far
That’s great to hear. 👍🏼
Would be cool if on your videos, if you label time stamps of all the plants when you show their names. Great videos though, wow.

No that is common cinquefoil in the rose family. It does resemble it though with the five fingered leaves.
pretty sure carnation is ohio state flower
Correct. Large flowered trillium is Ohio’s official state wildflower. I may have said flower instead of Wildflower 👍🏼
I was coming with the same thing lol
@@joshrobsonwildcache do you live in Ohio? What part of so? Do you offer walk around classes in person?
