    Love it. Thanks for taking the time to make such a great video. I've had my KH1 for a couple of weeks and I am loving it. Neighbors probably think I'm crazy walking around the neighborhood with a 13' wire trailing behind me. But, I can hunt POTA while out getting some much-needed exercise. Thanks again. I know how much time it takes to create and edit a video like this. Much appreciated!!! - Cliff

    Been a ham for 38 years but let my code slip so bad I forgot 1/3 of the letters … back up to about 10WPM now and this is the perfect rig for me… no fuss set up and I can do the right from my car… Just became a subscriber… thanks and keep the videos coming!

    Great video and a very interesting little radio.
    Thank you for putting the CW subtitles on your videos.
    I'm struggling to learn CW, but seeing the conversation progress in a way that I can follow along really helps, especially with the abbreviations/shorthand y'all use.

      It truly is. I am looking forward to a lot of opportunities to use it in the near future. I won't be giving up on the KX2 but this is great for getting on the air very quickly and having some fun.

    Thanks for a very nice video and I love the camera mounted to your hat! It was nice being able to see the display on the KH1 so clearly. My KH1 has been shipped and it's supposed to arrive this week - Five months to the day since I ordered it. Could you share where you bought that silicone wire? Thanks.

    • @houseofhamradio
      @houseofhamradio  9 місяців тому +2

      Thanks for your kind words. I added a link to the wire on Amazon in the video description. I would add it here but they strip links out of comments.

    What are your thoughts on the sound of the sidetone? It sounds a little warbly in the video. Also, can you comment on the side to side movement of the paddle? It appears to not be mounted very solidly. - W7TAO

    • @houseofhamradio
      @houseofhamradio  3 місяці тому +1

      The sidetone is fine in use. Does it sound as nice as my KX2? No but I don't find it objectionable. As for the lateral movement of the paddle, I don't have any issue with it. It seems to work just fine. I don't send particularly fast but those that try and send north of 30WPM might view it differently.
