11:11 This was done as tribute to a 4-year-old Make-A-Wish boy who was afflicted with a very rare incurable form of cancer but loved Skylanders (and is also the namesake of Zap’s soulgem because his favorite Skylander was Zap). Sadly, he passed away from his illness before Giants released, which is why this tribute is a thing. Tree Rex’s Heroic Challenge, S.A.B.R.I.N.A., is also a tribute to a Make-A-Wish kid, this time a little girl named- you guessed it- Sabrina. She came up with the idea for the challenge and also helped design it. Also, the song that the Gecko Chorus sings is actually a higher pitched version of Sabrina and her friends singing the song she and the developers came up with for the level. The lyrics are as follows: Capybara, Capybara, Capybara, Capybara, about the size of a dog! Capybara, Capybara, Capybara, Capybara, loves water just as much as a frog! Capybara, Capybara, Capybara, Capybara, your head looks like a log! (This last line goes unused in the actual game) Capybara, Capybara, Capybara, Capybara, when he exits the water he always gets too sogg-y! I do not know what disease Sabrina had, nor do I know if she ultimately succumbed to said disease or managed to persevere and survive through it, but I’d like to hope she lived to see her work through in the final game.

It’s ironic because giants has the best skystones game in the series 😂 besides, the game literally lets you buy cheats to bypass it every time, so idk what bro’s deal is

skylander giants will always be in my heart as my first ever skylanders game. i remember going to a friends birthday party and seeeing the game truck with skylanders in it and i forever fell in love with the series

I just want to bring Smolderdash to your attention, in Skylander Swapforce. From playing with her for like 30h, her hitstun against enemies is just way to strong, if you touch them they will never move again, aswell as that she is the fastest skylander, and deals a ton of damage in eclipse mode. She can also one shot enemies by using the gravity from her sun to throw them down a edge no matter how strong. Imo she definitly is tthe most op Skylander ever, at the very least in arena mode.
18:59-19:05 that’s a common issue when including gimmicks into a franchise that it’s just there while the entire game or series or whatever plays out the same
