- Lamborghini Egoista at the 5th Schloss Bensberg Classics.
It is definitely not the best or most interesting video, but when the Lamborghini Egoista was started and driven of its place at the Schloss Bensberg Classics I couldn't resist to take a video. Before this they took about two hours to build the "ramp". That it would take them about 4 minutes to drive the car backwards to the lorry wasn't foreseen when I started filming. I want to say sorry for the partly poor quality of this video, it was the very first one shot with my DSLR. If you are waiting for the Egoista revving jump straight to 04:00

Es ist mit Sicherheit nicht das beste oder spannendste Video, aber als beim Abbau der Schloss Bensberg Classics der Lamborghini Egoista tatsächlich gestartet und aus eigener Kraft zum LKW gefahren wurde, konnte ich nicht widerstehen und habe das "Schauspiel" aufgenommen. Vorausgegangen waren annähernd zwei Stunden Aufbau für die "Rampe". Dass das Herunterfahren dann so lange dauern würde, war nicht absehbar. Die Videoqualität bitte ich zu entschuldigen, es war mein allererstes Video mit der DSLR. Wer auf das Hochdrehen des Motors wartet, sollte direkt zu 04:00 springen.

I think it was a limited batch that were sold. As stunning the car is I wouldn't buy it (unless I was rich), it isn't very practical due to it only being a one seater.
Master Insight Oh I think you misunderstand, I mean Hotwheels. I know for sure there is 2 different Sesto Elementos, 1 Veneno (Orange), but I haven't seen any other hotwheels lambo hypercars. I'd love to add this to my collection.

I get that this car is worth a fortune, but every time I see 10 people guiding a driver for five minutes so he can back it up 3 meters, I want to burst out laughing. It's just a damn car afterall.
It has no mirrors and it was made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini (i think its 50) they cant risk anything.
I know this and I know why there are 10 people guiding this thing, but every time I see something like laugh out loud (and then something dies inside of me).

Feels weird to me that they put a noisy combustion engine in something that looks so futuristic.
Exactly what I say! That 'feeling' is the incongruity of something that looks like it should fly, making jetlike or similar sounds, mated with a huge noisy piston engine and rolling around on the ground. It doesn't 'fit'.
See the size of the exhaust? and how close the engine is to it?
Believe me, the sound of this video's do not does justice to the way it sound at live. My neighbour have a musclecar, it's sounds the same at recordings.

In fact, this body rolling around on dry land is incongruous - Lambo went overboard on this one.

all that technology and expense but it takes 30 mins of preparation to floor the ground and 6 mins to reverse 11FT. Lovely car and stunning to look at but a car of that value that doesn't have lifting suspension for awkward moments is a massive failure.
It took them more than 2 hours to prepare the floor. In the meantime all the other unique Lamborghinis (4000 GT Flying Star, Bravo Concept, 350 GTV, Miura Roadster and Marzal Concept) had left their individual stages without problems.

Supercars like this. Even if they made more than 1. They are so impractical. No matter how much money you have.
You'd be too afraid to drive it but at 4 am when there are virtually no cars on the road. You can't drive it to a restaurant or shopping or risk getting a ding or scratch. What happens if something goes wrong and you're 50 miles from the city? You need to take it to the Lambo dealer you bought it ONLY for servicing.
There comes a point where owning a supercar isn't worth it. All they're good for is "appreciation" for engineering design.
You practically need to walk with your own ramp whenever you drive this thing. What's the point of owning a car like that?

Unlike other Lamborghinis it is not for driving everyday it is for fun and track days.

I've watched a few videos of this...thing...today, and all I've seen has been it reversing (slowly) and a very bad CG film.
Well done for making a unique looking vehicle, but it' seems that it's almost undriveable!

So...ya basically cant drive it anywhere. Alright. Interesting car but I would LOVE to see them make something innovative...like this.....but not to have a crew direct you when there is a 1" change in elevation. Kinda weird to me. But...of course....Ill never know the mindset of someone that is independently wealthy either. Oh well.
