It's so interesting; I speak Acadian French as my grandmother is from Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. I didn't realize how similar Cajun French and the Cajun accent is to Acadian spoken in Cape Breton. I understand that most Cajuns made it to Louisiana during the great expulsion, a few distant relatives of mine being some of those people, but up until now I didn't realize how similar we really were, even after all of this time.
Such a wonderful reflection of what America is about- the melting pot of all the languages and traditions of the world into a big beautiful blend of culture
So more interresting than the mainstream music culture we hear today Ça c'est de la bonne musique ça l'a une saveur, c'est authentique c'est tellement mieux que tous ces artistes américains qui sonnent pareils.
