This is awesome…. I just bought a State bike with a Wheeltop groupset and now they “aren’t good anymore” thanks Drew. Just kidding I’d never buy either of those. I don’t think I’d listen to this podcast without Drew…
I played hockey for about 20 years and during college. My shifts on the ice were 45 second full gas sprints. When I switched over to crit racing after college the first two years I would just do 2 min attacks and blow up the group. Now it has been five years and I have lost that residual hockey fitness. Dylan can do like 400 watts for 20 min but can't walk groceries up the stairs. Us cyclists are to specialized lol.

Triathlon has a variety of kits, in ironman(long distance) its all about the aero since so much of the race is on the bike and you cannot draft. Longer sleeve kits also have been proven to be cooler as well. In Olympic style triathlon there are specific rules for the kit, everyone wears the same thing pretty much. This is governed by ITU (similar to UCI). These races are draft legal for the bike part so the solo aero gains don’t matter as much and everyone have the same kit so the advantage is null. For the swimming super suits, yes ian thorpe wore a full arm suit in the early 2000s but it predated the super suites. The one that was the craze was the speedo LZR that was full leg and chest covering, it was non permeable so it acted as a bouy and filled with air let you sit high in the water. They were banned after the 2009 world championships. Basically every world record was broken in those years. Swimmers have been improving recently and now only a few stand. The main one left is the 400M long course freestyle. Those suits are difficult to put on, modern tech suits take 20-30 minutes to put on the first time because you size down so much for maximal compression
Triathletes have not worn "bikinis" for over two decades now. Not sure what triathlons you guys have been watching. Weird comment, especially since you occasionally reference the Norwegian triathletes. It was just after the year 2000 that almost all athletes started wearing two piece super tight skinsuits for all three events, and within three years (around 2003 to 2004) many of them had even switched to the now common one piece skinsuits which for triathlon they call a trisuit (similar to cycling skinsuits, but a little different as it has to be made for running so has much less padding). The only differences between what they wore in early 2000s versus now is the fabric is more technical and we call the really expensive ones that the pros wear, supersuits; during the swim portion some of the athletes wear what are called swim skins which you wear over your primary trisuit (or if it is really cold you can wear a superfast wetsuit). The swimskin is a superfast technical garment that is made to be hydrodynamic; also there are now some quirky rules about whether the suit has to be long or short sleeve depending on the specific event and organization.
Dylan : "Dude, get off your phone, we're recording" Scott : "Hold my beer" *proceeds to make 2 phone calls* This guy doesn't give a S*** about the podcast 😂🤣 Kick him out!
@@musclelessfitness2045 hope you’re doing well too. I just find it confusing that you hate on scott for not taking the most un-serious podcast seriously
@@604idan It's not hate. I'm just pointing out the obvious that he doesn't care at all about their podcast. First time I see this in any podcast. He could instead add value by doing so many interesting things.
Not gonna lie but there is too many people on the podcast, I don’t know how people can keep up on audio. This episode was definitely downgrade from the previous weeks!
Drew wins unbound this year. Heard it here first.
On G1 RX's because they look like Race Kings... and DJ head explodes :D
I actually think Drew pulls off the stache. +5 watts for sure.
Best way to test VO2max is going to one of those trampoline parks. Pay for a whole hour and try to get your money's worth lol
I would pay to beta test dizzlepeaks
Suspension, MTB tires, and Mustache...Drew is going to be the new Gravel Godzilla.

My favorite part every week is when Adam brings up Dylan's tatts, talks shit about them, and gets Dylan to essentially agree.
RadStacheDizzle in the HOUSE
Everything after the 50 minute mark was a desperate housewives of Bonkville episode.
Dizzle going for the Vegan Cyclist look.
Drew has totally mastered how to trigger Dyaln into giving him real time tyre by tyre purchasing info ;-)
Bros, Tuffo Thundero 48 is what you need
i like the gang all together

1:12:55 It’s raw carbon…
In an interview she said the longer shorts bothered her scar from that bad crash she had 2020 worlds TT
37:18 dear lord please don't.
Lol, he's all about the bible. Unless he's getting a tattoo, which is a sin in the bible, then it doesn't matter.
DREW GET OFF THE PHONE! *scott proceeds to be on a phone call for 30min on camera*
Immediate response to conversation about Dizzle's new stache.
If The View was a gravel podcast
no snakes
I suspect Chloe uses the short bibs to avoid aggravating her injuries...
I always figured it was either because they might help with cooling? or to show off her rockin' thighs... both valid reasons imo :D

Lil dood ate his boogers
To be fair to Drew most people in the comments are pretty stupid too, speaking from experience.
Not sure if scott ends up turning his mic around later in this episode, but it is turned around backwards. That is why it sounds like shit lol
100% he just had no idea how to use the thing 😂
Have you counted the votes?
What you talkin bout you cant be lean and in form all year dylan havent you heard about the durianrider protocols😳😂
The first episode when Drew's trash level goes to an average men. Thanks, Lauf 🎉

Nah it's perfect
It's always a downgrade in braincells if you listen too long. Like five minutes
I would still listen if there were 20 bros on this call, bring on the chaos!
