@@lindaferguson7904 if you really saw it Bernard freezes Santa's family then takes him through doors & they see many other Santa's & Krampas & Bernard explained he fell for a human giving up eternal youth to be/married her.
To be fair, David Krumholtz is more known for his role as Charlie Epps on Numb3rs and lesser for his role as Goldstein in the “Harold & Kumar” movies, than for the “The Santa Clause” movies, I mean, arguably, of course - seeing as he did 119 episodes of critically acclaimed “Numb3rs” and only 2 “Santa Clause” movies - but I’m older and enjoyed the adult-themed Numb3rs more than I did the Christmas movies, so there’s that. Might be more anecdotal than empirical, I suppose (but I did cover my butt by adding “arguably”) lol
That’s funny because everytime I saw David in anything after “The Santa Clause”, I would say to myself, “That’s Bernard from The Santa Clause!” 😂 even Numb3rs haha
While yes "Bernard" is a memorable character, I would argue that (possibly due to length of run) that "Charlie" from Numb3rs is a more memorable role which will remember him for.
The Short Answer, David Krumholtz got to old. Long Answer, David Krumholtz who Plays Bernard was already in his teens when he got the role of Bernard in The Santa Clause (1994) So he was pretty old back then.
I enjoyed his role in Addams Family Values. I’m sure many of us hope for a return to his character in a third Addams movie. The Marriage of Wednesday Addams. Unfortunately the death of Raul Julia prevented this. Very good actor. Great variety of characters.
Even if Tim Allen made his comeback voicing Buzz Lightyear in Lightyear (2022) instead of Chris Evans, that movie might be a success if Tim Allen made his comeback. Who cares for Chris Evans when I stick to Tim Allen?
@@sharptoothtrex4486 if they were going to relaunch the old Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command Cartoon, that would be different. Wayne Knight was so funny as Emperor Zurg.
Ok Bernard didn’t simply start aging because he got married. Bernard met a human, fell in love, gave up his elf magic to marry the human and live in the world, rather than having them move to the North Pole. This means the Elf magic and North Pole magic are no longer keeping him young. He’s now human. 3 minutes in and can’t continue watching due to this narrator. Also, dude, look over IMDb or something. While many recognize David as Bernard, this was his breakout role, not his most memorable role, unless you are completely disregarding TV roles…
Charlie declined, he didn't want his kids growing up at The Pole because of how poor of an environment it really is for human kids to grow up in (his siblings were raised there & it hindered proper development as kids/young adults as it's really only an environment conducive for elves).
I think every man that gets married seems to start ageing really quickly. It seems getting married is bad for mens health. 🤔 women litualy suck the life out you, which is ironic because that sort of thing stops once your married. 😂😂
There's no Santa Claus without Bernard 😊
Agreed, he was my favorite
I think many many people started to freak out (in good way), fangirl/boy when Bernard showed up in the show. I know i did.😅
I just watched the Santa clauses which episode was Bernard in? I didn't see him xx

Oh sorry yes I saw that one. I thought he was in the new Santa Clauses on netflix. Thank you xx
@@lindaferguson7904 he is in the later episodes on The Santa Clauses on the netflix show.
Has a kid in the 1990's until now I still have a crush on Bernard ❤😍 in Clause 1&2
You should have watched him in the TV series "Num3ers" - what a handsome guy! (And the character he played was wonderful, too.)
Same
Same ❤

I still love him from 10 Things I Hate About You...
He was also Mr Universe in the Serenty the movie for the Firefly series
Also when he was younger he was in The Addams Family movie when the kids went to summer camp. 😸
That’s funny because everytime I saw David in anything after “The Santa Clause”, I would say to myself, “That’s Bernard from The Santa Clause!” 😂 even Numb3rs haha
I've only seen him as Bernard.
Poor bernard as interesting as it is this man is a sweetheart so much explaining for bernies come back 😂
He just had a Major role in Oppenheimer, playing Isidor Rabi, a very famous Nuclear scientist.

LOVED BERNARD
I had such a crush on him in that movie ❤
I think by Santa Clause 3, David Krumholtz was doing Numbers, too. Loved that show.
Whoever mixed this video needs serious help. I was less than half thru and it seemingly restarted 3 times without restarting.
Bernard was one of my favorite characters in the first two "Santa Clause" movies. It's great he was able to return to the series!
Wasn't David also in the TV show Numbers?
Yes
I had the biggest crush on him as a kid
Me too!
Awww I love him! ❤❤❤❤
Still need what happened to Curtis???
I missed him too.

He was in AFV?? Interesting.
Besides tim Bernard was my favorite in the first movie
My most beloved role for David Krumholtz will always be Numbers.
I was wondering what happened to Bernard because he was not in Santa Clause 3.
I completely forgot this show existed

No. The story was awful. Tim Allen knew this and chose not to get involved. He made the right choice, in my opinion.
@@MichaelKean-k2l Whatever, I do not want to hear "no" for an answer as if I care for Tim Allen.

look i like the vid, but SERIOUSLY drop the cheap AI generated dialog, it makes me click off every vid that has it.
Didn't know there was a 4th movie, #3, with Jack frost, I thought, was the last one.
Series on Disney+
@@101moosefanI didn’t know they did a series
COOL!

How about Eric Lloyd?
I always assumed that Curtis pushed him off a roof.
Tim Allen is still alive, and so is David Krumholtz.
The Santa Calsue 3 just wasn’t the same without Bernard. 😕
How did this sound so much like AI before chat gpt was so prominent
Why didn't Scott's son take over as Santa? They could've used a different actor to play him.
I think they explain why in one episode actually.
Buddy Claus is the next one in line. Charlie turned it down because he is married living in Florida!
Charlie declined, he didn't want his kids growing up at The Pole because of how poor of an environment it really is for human kids to grow up in (his siblings were raised there & it hindered proper development as kids/young adults as it's really only an environment conducive for elves).
yes i am happy the Retrun of Brnond
There’s another Elf who makes a comeback in season 2 episode 3
❤❤❤❤❤
Love the first movie. Liked the second. Never watch anything else.
Yes
I figured that they’d do another Santa Claus movie eventually… but no!
Forget Bernard, I always wondered whatever happened to Charlie from Numb3rs!
He was better in Numbers, imo.
He gain weight
I'm sorry but this show was a bust if anybody took over Scott's job it should have been his son Charlie.
So as usual woke is broke Disney destroyed another good series of movies why can't they make new movies instead of destroying old ones?
Because they have a single plot formula they follow.
