I thought Tayari got some little wounds when they had quarrel inside of house.
Ringo did not rush to foraging as usual , he kept following and caring auntie's wounds.

You are correct. Every time there is a disagreement between the sisters it is T. Who gets chased and bitten. Tough to be the low gorilla in the hierarchy.

Has it ever happened that one of the little ones would try to get milk from the auntie and the auntie would comply?
I saw in the Prague Zoo, A Female named Kamba had a miscarriage and took on the role of 2nd Mother to Female, Kijivu's babies and older Gorilla Kids. She breast fed the babies and when the older Gorillas lost Mom's attention from a new Baby coming along, they would go to Kamba for attention, affection and a little snack. It was as if Mom Kijivu was aware of Kamba's pain and allowed her to be surrogate Mom to her kids and let Kijivu focus on any new born at the time because the older Gorilla's lose their sleeping and #1 place with Mom as soon as a new Baby comes. It's just Mom and the Baby so Kamba would even go to the older Gorilla (** who would be staring at Mom and the new Baby behaving obviously very confused, jealous and sad, and trying to squeeze in to sleep with them but Usually Mom's will reject the older Gorilla because a new baby needs protection and Mom's full attention. And it is heartbreaking to see that. ) So Kamba would come to the older Gorilla and allow them to sleep with her in her nest. It was great seeing that, but, sad for the 1st born cause the more Babies Mom has, the more they will get bumped. Then Kamba would go to another Sibling that lost Mom, then oldest would either sleep alone or squeeze in with Kamba and the older Gorilla who just lost spot with Mom. ) The Oldest was Daughter named, Moja. She had such a personality and behaved like a jealous & angry teenage Human Girl. She didn't holdback when she was angry and jealous wanting either Kamba or her Mom to give HER their full attention. She would throw hay at Kamba and Tatu ( younger Bro ) as they were trying to settle in the nest at night ( Mom was with New Baby, Kiburi ) Moja would whine ( they had a 24 hour Gorilla Camera until it was shut down so you could hear any sounds or "slaps" between them. She even went to sit with Kamba as she was alone and at the same time, baby Bro. Tatu came and sat on Kamba's lap. Kamba touched Moja's leg and Moja snapped her leg back as if to say, "Don't you dare touch me now! Traitor!!" She was giving Tatu a look of anger, Moja stood up, picked up a wooden Rocking horse ( Tatu knew she was mad and started running ) and threw it at Kamba and slapped her hard in the back! She was something else! It amazed me to see how much they feel and behave just like humans. So, Kamba would breast Feed ( Along with Kijivu ) Kijivu's kids. Kamba had an emergency C-section and could not have any more babies. But, worked out great because Kijivu needed help and Kamba needed to feel like a Mother to a baby Gorilla and older Kids.

Ringo was raised by his mother. She was very protective and loving. Jabali was raised by Djeeco, his mother wasn't as sheltering. I think Ringo is more observant and calmer, because his mother, was like that with him.

Ojalá a algunos de los directores del zoológico de Taiwán o de Apenheul tome la decisión de sacar a Tayari de esta tropa, ella ya aporto mucho al desarrollo de esta familia. Ella merece ser feliz con otro espalda plateada más joven y con una sola esposa, ella es un gorila con experiencia y mucha paciencia un espalda plateada joven que no tenga experiencia podría aprender mucho de ella.

Why on earth would they send her to Japan. Going from this beautiful home to Japans sub par enclosures & the zoos reputation is bad. If you love Tay send her to Europe, she will thrive. But it's not that easy to just uproot her life & move her. Tay need's to grow up. You have made a comment on something you didn't see happen. Tayari es un gorila maduro e inteligente con muchos conocimientos por aprender y para enseñar. Yo no especifique un país, gorilas jóvenes sin parejas hay en cantidad. Tayari tiene una personalidad fuerte, ella puede estar lejos en otra tropa así como supero a Apenheul.
