That's the bit that I can't figure out because it needs to be just them being free to be themselves and be funny but it also has to be something you can sell to a streaming service or television channel.

I dunno. Katherine Parkinson wasn't very clever thru her series. And I liked Katherine on Doc Martin, but Lucy is definitely funnier and a Taskmaster favorite imo.
The Harry Potter and RSPB comparisons to that head shoulders knees and toes thing were so random and one of lucy's shining moments. it even made alex laugh LOL
The team of Sam, Lucy, and Julian was literally a match made in heaven. I don’t think there has ever been a more perfect team in the history of taskmaster and that’s saying a LOT.

If there is a multiverse and ours id designated Earth.000, I choose believe Lucy is located in Earth.001 and has the ability to vibrate into ours from time to time. Her wacky ideas make perfect sense over there. Lucy is a PURE DELIGHT. I would happily watch a future season including her, Julian and Morgana purely for the chaos they would rain on Alex and Greg
Either she was playing it up for the screen, or she was genuinely the most daft contestant in the history of the entire show. Either way, I doubt we’ll see another contestant like her anytime soon.
I think it's both too. I think she's one of those very self aware people that does realize they sometimes have ditzy moments where they say or do the wrong thing but then intentionally plays into them for maximum comedic effect.

Sometimes, comedians play a character on a show like this. Sometimes, they act like they're dumb when they're actually fairly intelligent. But poor Lucy... I don't think she's playing a character. I wonder how she would have done, if she was competing against Judi Love.
I'm guessing the hotel task is excluded as they uploaded the extended cuts after the series ended, otherwise it's insane that it didn't make any of the compilations of the JLS team

Today the animal hospital allowed my cat to escape, after she had suffered a serious injury to her face and above her head... with a cone around her head, and hasn't eaten for 2 days. Nobody knows where she is, and I feel dead inside. 5:47 This made me laugh... twice

Taskmaster struck gold with the Lucy, Sam and Julian team.
Alex calling them ‘JLS’ reminded me of early Taskmaster, when there were always some cute reason they had been grouped like that.
