I cannot even begin to explain how utterly badass this scene was. Eddie playing Master of Puppets to a crowd of flesh eating bats. Literally something straight out of Doom.

I am 64! I started watching this series and got hooked. This scene was SO ROCKED OUT METAL AWESOME!!! I have watched it over and over. Eddie was a SUPER character. So much like the concerts in the 80s. So glad his uncle got closure at the end 😕

Ad a kid who was a metalhead reject in the 80s, this scene put a lump in my throat the first time i saw it.
In a show that’s already bursting with 80s nostalgia, saving metallica’s “Master of Puppets” for a final boss scene in the underworld was absolutely metal and perfectly on brand for how over the top the 80s was. I loved it
