The Upside Down and The Mind Flayer always existed but it didn’t have its shape till Henry shaped it. I feel like the Demogorgon was more or less searching for Eleven and everyone it killed and it took was because they were simply in its way but it took them as but each kill was strengthening Vecna
i don’t think so. there were demogorgons before one shaped the upside down, i still believe that the demogorgon of the first season was just mindlessly capturing stuff.

Before 001 became Vecna, he had already imagined a world where he ruled and originally wanted El to be with him, but since El rejected him and opened the upside-down, he got his wish. When he was in the upside-down and explored the world there, it was barren but full of hive-minded entities that he could shape and form to his likeness, especially the Mind Flyer. When El opened the gate a second time when Will Byer went missing, Vecna was able to capture Hawkins setting like a snapshot, and that is why Nancy has yet to have her collection of weapons.

Before she even went to Hawkings she had a sad and turbulent life, it only got worse and she lost everything, her brother, her mother drowned in debt and just drinking and working herself to death, her stepfather abandoned her just like her real father! She has trauma, pain, guilt, anxiety, depression and still left all broken, blind and in a coma with no memories! If it was to give her more weight, it would be better to have put an end to it once and let her rest, now they kept her "alive" to later claim death again?! I think what happened is Eleven saved her and kept her alive, but since she still "died" briefly then that means Vecna still has her soul or something. Since Brenner said that those 001 kills, he consumes. So that means in order to revive Max, they likely have to kill off Vecna for good.

I was crying in the Season Finale when Max died with her emotional scene with Lucas's and Elevens reactions and the Eddie died and Dustin had to tell his uncle. It was so Heartbreaking

Reaction means an emotional reaction to what’s happening on the screen, not explaining the show to your friends. That’s called commentary

Even creepier..that was Jamie’s real voiceover for Vecna, and Eddie was really playing along on guitar.. I wonder if there’s another dimension Elle could contact for another entity to help her. And still, why was Will kidnapped in seas one? Why the slug in his lung? Also, did Vecna kidnap him? Demogorgons never demonstrated either patience or telekinesis, remember how the door chain was lifted off? And why was a gate not necessary to kidnap the original victims?
My best guess here is that he was sending these "minions" out to search for El. However, in the cases the minions would loose contact with the other plain (when the gates get closed), thjey default to a preditory behavior and wreck havic. Unless he had other agendas with those creatures and they were just attempts at gaining a foothold in the world. Something else I am considering is that prior to Season 4, Vecna either was not strong enough or was not sure enough he could influence people outside of his dimension. Will might have just been a test. He worked in the lab he grew up in after all. So for him to rely on what he may have learned during that time working in the lab, he probably set the whole thing up to determin how he could invade peoples minds and use their deaths to open portals to his world.

If only El would have thought sooner that she might have enough power to keep her from dying maybe she could have stopped her from that one minute death that caused Vecna to achieve his mission and how Vecna survived that burn and many shots is just crazy if that didn't kill him I don't know how they are going to kill him in season 5

Probably the only problem i have with this season is that they killed off eddie at the worst time. He didn't deserve a death or at least couldve survived to season 5. But everything else is just phenomenal writing and acting. One of the best in the season.
Eddie couldn’t really have made it to season 5 tbh. Everyone blames him for what’s happening, there’s no way he could be integrated back into society (as unfair and horrible as that is) :/ From a narrative standpoint, he kinda had to die.
I feel like Dr Brenner is the MindFlayer in the Upside Down. They said the demogorgan is a foot soldier, Vecna is a general, and that means the Mind Flayer is the leader. Dr Brenner does stuff with the mind. I’ve had this theory for a long time and now Matthew Modine has said he thinks Dr Brenner will be back and that he might have mind powers.

I was very emotional for this finale. But now that I've calmed down, I have a few problems with it. The biggest one is Mike. In season 2, if Will so much as frowned for more than a fraction of a second, Mike would be by his side, comforting him. Now, Will is literally crying next to him and around him and he doesn't notice. Which is very ironic since he's called the heart of the party. Two, Mike telling El that his life didn't really start until he met her. Not only did he know Dustin, Lucas, and Will before that, he seemed really happy to know them. Does that suddenly not matter to him? Also, the day he met her is the same day Will literally went missing. Also, also, in season 2, Mike told Will that the best thing he'd ever done was talk to him that day on the swings. He thought the best thing he'd ever done was meeting Will. But now, he's saying his life hadn't started until very recently. So Mike is either lying, or this is another "we forgot Will's birthday" oversight. And both of those options don't sound good. But to add another layer to it, Mike's confession was not only brought on by Will, but it was also Will talking about his own feelings but pretending El felt that way. So Mike is in love with the idea Will presented but that idea is about Will, so that speech technically wasn't really about El but also it was? There's a lot going on. But also, El told Mike that Will was seemingly making a painting for someone he liked and that she didn't know what it was. Will told Mike that El commissioned it, which means she'd have to know what it was. So if Mike sits down and thinks for more than 3 seconds, he should realize that one of them is clearly lying. One of them is lying to make their best friend happier. And that person is Will.
Will deliberately looked away from Mike so he wouldn’t see him cry so he wouldn’t see how in pain he was because as he said Vecna won’t stop till he’s taken everything and everyone he knows no one is truly safe and my theory is Will or Mike will be the final sacrifice kinda how Tony snapped in Endgame

If other people were in different situations it may have worked out, especially with Eddie and the flamethrower would have been better against the bats too. Idk it kinda reminded me of Mass Effect where you have to choose a leader for each task in the last mission and hope they survive.
SO TRUE. amazing comparison to an amazing game! or kind of similar to the empire strikes back - many of characters ran out of time and the one with the power to confront the antagonist head-on wasn't ready. i think maybe if eleven was able to communicate with the rest of the team and tell them to wait it out and not confront venca then they could have prevented so much from going wrong

(Will, Jonathan and Argyle at least and Mike supports Eleven) I felt they would have been useful, yet unable to assist someone like Eddie. Granted if Eddie didn't buy more time it would have been a huge failure anyway. Half the time I was yelling... GO! GO! GO! Why are you walking so slow when they're suppose to burn and kill Vecna. I like what someone else said before. That when El opened the second portal at the start of the show, Vecna was able to re-create Hawkens within his world. Like a screenshot. But it doesn't change with the passage of time like it does in the real world. That would explian the missing weapons in Nancie's room.
no its a retcon. in season 2 joyce says his birthday is march 22nd in the ice skating rink someone is filming and it has the date march 22nd. So they literally forgot wills birthday canonically speaking. The characters didn't though the directors did. They accidently made that day march 22nd. So they are literally CHANGING joyce saying march 22nd to may 22nd in season 2. So they retconned wills birthday. Very minor but its a retcon. No one minds im sure but they retconned his birthday.

hi! so the random silent parts are due to the fact that the video got a copyright strike on a certain section (usually due to music in the background that the algorithm detects). the only way to remove the strike is to silence the audio for that part of the video.
I was just blown away by the sequence of running up that hill seeing Nancy, Steve, Robin, 11, Hopper etc.. fighting Vecna in their own way, that something hit me. Hopper grabing the Sword makes him look like a Knight. The kids mentioned a Knight in Season 1 episode 8, and they're Also mentionning a princess, a cave, ans strange flowers. I don't know much about D&D's universe but I think that the whole point of the show is for us to Guess which role is playing each characters. We know Will the wise for what I Remember and they already mentioned who was who in Season 2 when max is kindda arguing with mike at school. If Hopper is the Knight then Joyce would be the princess. I think that Nancy is some kind of a badass fairy, But she Also Plays the role of a protector and she Always fight the biggest threats in every season just like Elf. The flowers are the ones in the upside down, directly linked to Vecna. The cave could be the library where the knight and the princess entered to save her wise son. I truly believe that the portals intersecting on the library is not à coïncidence since the Duffer brothers had made a lot of call back with Season 1. Vecna's plan had a Long Time to growth and maybe longer than we Can think because we have no clue on how time works in the upside down. There is a lot of characters now that entered the game. But everyone has a role to play before they die. Hopper couldn't die because he literally have a Destiny based on his role in the game. The Duffer brothers didnt even hide it in the trailers, because as I Said, i think the interesting part ils who is who rather than who will die. So the solution to end Vecna might be at the library/Cave but that is Also where the cloud emerged. Great Season and great show with a lot touching and thrilling moments when you try to match roles and characters in Key moments.

Caleb ate Max's death scene...he had me scream crying right along with him Then Jason getting melted in half almost directly after had me screaming in excitement. I think it was fitting they just gloss over it. i had to rewind it to make sure that was what i had seen

Probably the only problem i have with this season is that they killed off eddie at the worst time. He didn't deserve a death or at least couldve survived to season 5. But everything else is just phenomenal writing and acting. One of the best in the season.
Eddie couldn’t really have made it to season 5 tbh. Everyone blames him for what’s happening, there’s no way he could be integrated back into society (as unfair and horrible as that is) :/
From a narrative standpoint, he kinda had to die.
I feel like Dr Brenner is the MindFlayer in the Upside Down. They said the demogorgan is a foot soldier, Vecna is a general, and that means the Mind Flayer is the leader. Dr Brenner does stuff with the mind. I’ve had this theory for a long time and now Matthew Modine has said he thinks Dr Brenner will be back and that he might have mind powers.

I was very emotional for this finale. But now that I've calmed down, I have a few problems with it. The biggest one is Mike. In season 2, if Will so much as frowned for more than a fraction of a second, Mike would be by his side, comforting him. Now, Will is literally crying next to him and around him and he doesn't notice. Which is very ironic since he's called the heart of the party.
Two, Mike telling El that his life didn't really start until he met her. Not only did he know Dustin, Lucas, and Will before that, he seemed really happy to know them. Does that suddenly not matter to him? Also, the day he met her is the same day Will literally went missing. Also, also, in season 2, Mike told Will that the best thing he'd ever done was talk to him that day on the swings. He thought the best thing he'd ever done was meeting Will. But now, he's saying his life hadn't started until very recently. So Mike is either lying, or this is another "we forgot Will's birthday" oversight. And both of those options don't sound good. But to add another layer to it, Mike's confession was not only brought on by Will, but it was also Will talking about his own feelings but pretending El felt that way. So Mike is in love with the idea Will presented but that idea is about Will, so that speech technically wasn't really about El but also it was? There's a lot going on. But also, El told Mike that Will was seemingly making a painting for someone he liked and that she didn't know what it was. Will told Mike that El commissioned it, which means she'd have to know what it was. So if Mike sits down and thinks for more than 3 seconds, he should realize that one of them is clearly lying. One of them is lying to make their best friend happier. And that person is Will.
Will deliberately looked away from Mike so he wouldn’t see him cry so he wouldn’t see how in pain he was because as he said Vecna won’t stop till he’s taken everything and everyone he knows no one is truly safe and my theory is Will or Mike will be the final sacrifice kinda how Tony snapped in Endgame

If other people were in different situations it may have worked out, especially with Eddie and the flamethrower would have been better against the bats too. Idk it kinda reminded me of Mass Effect where you have to choose a leader for each task in the last mission and hope they survive.

or kind of similar to the empire strikes back - many of characters ran out of time and the one with the power to confront the antagonist head-on wasn't ready. i think maybe if eleven was able to communicate with the rest of the team and tell them to wait it out and not confront venca then they could have prevented so much from going wrong
@@nerdymarriedcouple YES! Excactly I agree wit hthe Empire statement too! The ones supporting Eleven could have helped out too, excerpt they were stuck where they were. (Will, Jonathan and Argyle at least and Mike supports Eleven) I felt they would have been useful, yet unable to assist someone like Eddie. Granted if Eddie didn't buy more time it would have been a huge failure anyway.

I like what someone else said before. That when El opened the second portal at the start of the show, Vecna was able to re-create Hawkens within his world. Like a screenshot. But it doesn't change with the passage of time like it does in the real world. That would explian the missing weapons in Nancie's room.

no its a retcon. in season 2 joyce says his birthday is march 22nd in the ice skating rink someone is filming and it has the date march 22nd. So they literally forgot wills birthday canonically speaking. The characters didn't though the directors did. They accidently made that day march 22nd. So they are literally CHANGING joyce saying march 22nd to may 22nd in season 2. So they retconned wills birthday. Very minor but its a retcon. No one minds im sure but they retconned his birthday.

hi! we assume you're referring to the climax / epic battle scene. sadly music is so tricky on youtube, and we did get a copyright strike because the algorithm picked up the song in the background of that scene. the only way to remove the strike is to mute the sound for that particular section. but we LOVED the scene and hope y'all can still feel the energy even without the sound on that part, haha!

This is the 3rd video today I’ve watched with random silent parts... 10:08 for example
hi! so the random silent parts are due to the fact that the video got a copyright strike on a certain section (usually due to music in the background that the algorithm detects). the only way to remove the strike is to silence the audio for that part of the video.
I was just blown away by the sequence of running up that hill seeing Nancy, Steve, Robin, 11, Hopper etc.. fighting Vecna in their own way, that something hit me.
Hopper grabing the Sword makes him look like a Knight. The kids mentioned a Knight in Season 1 episode 8, and they're Also mentionning a princess, a cave, ans strange flowers. I don't know much about D&D's universe but I think that the whole point of the show is for us to Guess which role is playing each characters. We know Will the wise for what I Remember and they already mentioned who was who in Season 2 when max is kindda arguing with mike at school.
If Hopper is the Knight then Joyce would be the princess. I think that Nancy is some kind of a badass fairy, But she Also Plays the role of a protector and she Always fight the biggest threats in every season just like Elf.
The flowers are the ones in the upside down, directly linked to Vecna.
The cave could be the library where the knight and the princess entered to save her wise son.
I truly believe that the portals intersecting on the library is not à coïncidence since the Duffer brothers had made a lot of call back with Season 1.
Vecna's plan had a Long Time to growth and maybe longer than we Can think because we have no clue on how time works in the upside down.
There is a lot of characters now that entered the game. But everyone has a role to play before they die. Hopper couldn't die because he literally have a Destiny based on his role in the game. The Duffer brothers didnt even hide it in the trailers, because as I Said, i think the interesting part ils who is who rather than who will die.
So the solution to end Vecna might be at the library/Cave but that is Also where the cloud emerged.
Great Season and great show with a lot touching and thrilling moments when you try to match roles and characters in Key moments.
