I had a friend who drove without a drivers license for over 15 years simply because he lost track of time. He lost his license for 2 years but by the time he was caught again 15 years had past. The Judge asked him (I drove him to court) why didn't you get your license back after the 2 years, he looked at the judge and said "I honesty forgot how long the suspension was and the people at Drivers licenses office couldn't find the records to tell me but wouldn't let me take any steps to get a new license." So the Judge has one of his secretaries call the DMV and they tell her we don't have any record of it whatsoever. So the Judge comes back in laughing and says "well at least you weren't lying and telling us some elaborate lie. The state made a huge mistake so I'm going to help you out, you come back in 2 weeks with a Driving permit and I'll throw out the ticket and you can get back on track to driving legally if you don't have a permit I'm going to throw you in jail for a year. I took him the following day to get his permit and he passed.

Central Colombia has probably the most idyllic climate of any one global region; it’s permanently stuck in late spring. Whatever you want to plant, it’ll grow, with the exception of desert flora, any time of the year. Microclimates make it such that in a valley, you’ll have flowers, fruit orchards, and the next will have coconuts and dragon fruits. It was kind of like paradise, geographically speaking.

The Allende comment from Petro, it was so odd to say. While at the beginning it was though about US intervention in the coup in Chile, at the end it was solely the people of that country that did the coup themselves. This can be seen later when the democratic US governments made a weapons embargo against Chile.

It is a known fact that the US used their taxpayer's money in order to fund dictatorships in south america, in no SA country did the people ask for a coup.
