- In this video my wife and I open undeliverable, unclaimed USPS packages! You won't believe what we found! A lot of times undeliverable mail cannot be returned to the sender for a variety of reasons. Often the item is too large or came from too far to be returned. Those packages are then sold at auction and we found a company who sells them! Sit back and have a good laugh with what we find!

I've received packages that the Post Office actually has had to zip tie since there were so many holes and rips in the box.
Wear layers, but even in Alaska, they have some beautiful warm sunny days, especially in August, so bring shorts or a skirt.
I used to live in AK, and this is what they say about Anchorage: It's a nice place to visit and only 5 minutes from Alaska.
You should know there are only two seasons in Alaska: mosquitoes and no mosquitoes OR some people say there are three seasons in Alaska: winter, break-up, and road construction.
Seriously, remember that Alaska is a BIG state. The weather depends on where you visit.

Summer in Alaska is bright. Bring layers, nighttime still gets chilly. Where I live on the Kenai Peninsula is warmer during the winter and cooler during the summer than where I lived in MN and ND! Bring LOTS of bugspray! I always thought that the saying that the mosquitoes were as big as birds was ridiculous, but I have squished quite a few that are easily the size of a house fly! Sunscreen too, the sun is out a lot longer so you have a higher chance of getting burnt. The summer equinox is over though, so you will get some night.

Cruises to Alaska are in a temperate climate. You will not need your heavy winter clothes. But you need long pants and layers with a nice jacket for the top.

We went to Alaska in July. I wore a sweatshirt, long sleeve shirt, lined wind breaker, hat and gloves! It rained or drizzled everyday! It was a nice trip though.

One great place to eat is Moose’s Tooth. Two other places are Texas Roadhouse and Golden Corral which is a buffet
North Pole, Alaska is a MUST visit!!! Southern alaska, like seward and anchroage are hit or miss on weather since you're close to the ocean but interior, like fairbanks and North Pole is BOILING in the summer! We're already wearing shorts and be prepared that houses and most buildings do NOT have AC!
This past August we were in the 80s for like half the month
Dress for fall and layers for August in Alaska. We wore jeans and shorts in the same day. Bring extra pair of shoes in case one gets wet. Rain coat with hood , umbrellas are a PIA

Pants, light sweater and light jacket for everyday but if you're going to a glacier, you may need a heavier coat out on deck. We went in June, and it was nice weather, but it did drop around 30 degrees on deck going to the glacier.
I live in Anchorage. Its daylight more than dark still in August. Dress in layers. It can get warm in August. The thing is 60 in alaska is like 70 everywhere else because of being closer to the sun. There are lots of things to do. You can go for a drive uo the mountain and look over city, the zoo, you can go outside anchorage and do sled dog rides. There's lots to do.

There is a family up there that has a channel called Somersin Alaska (all one word ). Try to contact them or watch their channel . It's beautiful in Alaska . I was raised in Northern British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦.
Tahoe is a beautiful mountain area, with a huge lake in California. The lake, of course is called Tahoe Lake and it’s cold cold cold. Very desirable place to live.
I get really upset when women wear thongs on the family beach with kids running all over the place.
I went to Alaska last August on a cruise and the temperatures was in the 60s and 70s I wore T-shirts and flannel shirts

Lived up there for almost, 30 years. Are you just going to Anchorage or further north. Mosquito are a plenty. We can have really hot days in August. But layers is good to have. Good walking shoes.

Clint I am like you in the fact that I don't move in my sleep hardly at all. I will go to sleep in one position and nine times out of ten I will wake up in the same position. My mom says she is jealous of me in that regard because she is constantly turning in her sleep. My fiance too moves a lot in his sleep.
