Purchased this about a month ago to replace my pc3k6 which has seen its better days after 13 years of constant gigging, and started shutting off in the middle of gigs regularly, so it needed replacing. I absolutely love the pc4-7, I was able to load my pc3 programs with very little editing afterwards, and they actually sound better on the pc4. I was worried that I might not like the keybed, that it would feel cheap or just not playable, but was I wrong, I absolutely love the way it feels, much better than my pc3, or any keyboard I’ve ever owned for that matter, and that’s a lot of keyboards over 40 years. My only gripe is it won’t let me save programs anywhere I want, I have a piano sound I still use to this day after discovering on a k2000 program disk back in 1991, and it was always program “1”, but this keyboard won’t allow me to to over right program #1, I actually have to save all my programs to programs with 4 digit numbers which makes navigating during gigs a little bit of a pain, but otherwise I couldn’t be happier with it
You can use Quick Access and/or decide what will come up when you press every category button. Select your favorite piano, then press and hold button 1. You can do this with all the category buttons whether or not you want to use the Quick Access functions. To access the QA screen, press the view button teice from the reglar play screen.
Be interesting to see comments on how the semi-weighted keybed feels/responds for Acoustic/EP playing as compared to the weighted keybed on PC4 - 88key version
I feel like the pitch bend and mod wheels on the PC4 are too far up and too close to the edge while on the PC4-7 are in a better position. I used an Alesis QS7 and a Korg N1 for many years and the wheels where above the keys as well but they where not as far above from the keys as it seems in the PC4.
Very good playing, nice sounds. 👍 Unfortunately Kurzweil still doesn't use appropriate screen display sizes like Korg or Roland do, so this board is a no-no for me...
This is a kurzweil, the only thing you need the screen for is to make sure you input the correct program number after you pre programmed all your sounds, it’s about sound, and through VAST kurzweils can produce sounds other brands can’t

Thanks, I can look into that, I just wish it functioned the same as the old k2000, don’t know why they would change their Ergonomics
This machine is unbelievable. Very distinct sound and very futuristic vibe to the meditations

We are working on new Video demo, I really think that this keybed is much much more balanced and performing than that of the Pc3 76
Thank you. Waiting for next videos 😉

@@jemkeystv5717 they don’t understand
Is it smart to buy the PC4-7 while waiting for the K2700-7?
if you have already got a Pc4-7 then you can be very satisfied, I don't think the 76-key K2700 will be out anytime soon
Sidinho qual motivo de você ter vendido o kronos 2???
Hi, are.thise factory presets?
How does the keybed work?
yes they are factory sounds, the keybed is really nice to play
@@synthcloud thanks!
Good demo but it all sounds very bread & buttery - anything more exciting on this board?
