Banks vs Belair at Wrestlemania 37 was extremely good. But I understand why the fans left early because of the huge Wrestlemania crowd and covid and don’t want to be in traffic
I don’t think this was actually true. It pretty sure it was just Dave meltzer at the height of him helping tony Kahn by being super negative about wwe.
@@JacksonLane02That ppv was trash😅. A legit one match show with Rollins vs Miz which was one the best matches of that year but after that it all went downhill
Ronda vs. Shayna was screwed by Ronda's injury. They had to delay the breakup because of Ronda's injury and her hard exit date of SummerSlam meant they couldn't build it properly.
I was at Wrestlemania 29 and I distinctly remember it being freezing that night so much that they were giving out hot chocolate so i think that also another reason why people decided to leave early
U know when stuff boring when the fan goes to the bathroom and get snack and sometimes they don't even do that's, they leave for 5 minutes and come back or just leave the show and never come back
I was there at SummerSlam in Detroit. I think what was most confusing about the match was the ruleset. I was waiting for them to explain what MMA rules were, but they never explained it to the live audience. So, for us, it was just a normal match with little to no stakes. I love Shayna and wish she was presented better, but I definitely wasn't vibing with the match.
I totally agree with this. They made a huge mistake with this match. It should have just been bazler destroying Rhonda in a straight up squash match but really brutal. Rhonda was leaving anyway and it would have done a tone more for bazler than this match . I think they think there is more mma crossover than there really is with wrestling fans.
Nahhhh see I was there LIVE for that Alexa Bliss Charlotte segment on the ground level, and I saw NOBODY leave, I enjoyed that segment with the insults and extra cursing thrown in between
I went to live event in Mobile, Alabama this summer. For weeks they were promoting Bianca Belair to appear. Most of the women and girls in the audience had on EST gear and signs. But the main event of the show was Charlotte vs Bayley and literally when the bell rung you just saw a see of people leaving. It was a real let down because I have never seen Bianca in person but I stayed until the end of the show.
When I go to wwe events, I normally have a great time. However, there was once where I legitimately felt like walking out of the arena altogether. I went to the final raw before mania in Phoenix this year. The buildup for mania was incredible, so I figured the final raw before mania was a lock to be a good show. They put no effort into the show however, most big matches were built backstage, the best in arena entrances we even got were trish and Lita (which was like 5 seconds each before they rolled into Becky's music anyway), and brock lesnar, but the brock segment had a damper on it because it was the week of the pointless "weigh in" between omos and lesnar, where nothing even happened. I don't even remember what the main event was specifically, I just remember it being a tag match with Cody in it, that 1, meant absolutely nothing, and 2, once the entrances started for the main event it was almost a HALF HOUR before it actually started because of commercials and backstage segments. The crowd started booing during the final commercial break, and you could see Cody was getting visibly frustrated. We weren't booing Cody, we were booing the terrible no effort show we were given. And no dark matches to save the show either. I have yet to go back to a wwe show in Phoenix because of this, and I had been to every show there since the rumble a few years back.
I don't think the Charlotte and Alexa segment was that bad tbh I thought Charlotte and Alexa work shooting each other for being a rip off of their predecessors was entertaining, the feud honestly was the first entertaining feud for the women's division the whole year before the Becky and Bianca feud really got going from November 2021 to Wrestlemania 38
@@sirnetflix7162Dude like her gimmick or not Alexa was a top merch seller with that character that year. Hell I remember how the IWC hated her character so much that they said that she will have X Pac heat when the crowd comesback but nope she was really over with the crowd. Hell people were booing the other women when they buried Alexa with the ladders on Moneyinthebank.
My 1st ever wrestling event I attended was WrestleMania 29 at MetLife stadium and I can vouch that CM Punk vs The Undertaker had the loudest pop throughout the entire PPV and during Rock vs Cena 2 the crowd was dead and ready to leave at that point cause everyone knew Cena was winning
Honestly Punk vs Taker saved the card from it already more lackluster than it already was. It's such a Danm great match and feud ppl hardly talk about due to being overshadowed by the unessesary Rock vs Cena 2
Yeah even Cornette (begrudgingly) admitted Belair vs Banks was the best match of the show. For me it wasn't just Bliss. RIP Bray Wyatt but a lot of the cringe was just rubbing off from him. The fiend/funhouse stuff was just baaad.
Most of these types of live events when come to getting out from the parking lot can be stressful, and I think that is why people are trying to leave early. When having everyone gets out at the Sametime, it is tough to deal with for the most part at the time.
I was there , tons of people were leaving the rock vs cena match. Remind you of anything going on now ?? Now imagine that match but rock is ten years older older and 30 lbs of muscle bigger. Oh and it’s not a nyc crowd…… it’s a hardcore Philly crowd. Get ready for mania rocky.
IDK, people love to shit on Meltzer, but I know I didn't care for the Alexa segment at all. It was cringe trash, and the spooky stuff with her did not work. I know I would've took a piss break or went to concessions if I was there.
Im sorry, I was never a Sasha Banks fan. I probably would've left too. People tend to forget how many times she through a fit because she didnt get her way. Which is what made her walk out with Naomi seem like another tantrum fit. Obviously, that wasnt the case, but at the time, it did seem like it.
The thing is with what Road Dogg said, you can have the one goal of "Just get their money" all you want, but one day, us the WWE fans, we're gonna get tired of the BS, and then they'll stop getting our money. I'm glad they finally understand now, and is owned by a company that makes sure that we finally have a say in what we see and most of all, pay for.
Wow hater Ronda has done alot in wee and now she is gone people wanna know when she coming back or going to aew what hypocrites I personally don't give Ronda praise but she has done alot more then others her promos are bad but she is good though and without her shyna baszler wouldn't be used now in a top spot she was literally a jobber before Ronda came and made her a killer again but now shyna sucks again
Have yall personally seen people walk out of a wrestling show because of a bad match or segment
No they just was playing there phone
Nope
Yes. I was at this years summerslam and everything stated here is true. People in my section were pissed they pulled Trish vs Becky for what we got.
Nope. Only been to the live events and not a live PPV Raw or Smackdown or NXT episode
Women’s match it went slow a lot
Banks vs Belair at Wrestlemania 37 was extremely good. But I understand why the fans left early because of the huge Wrestlemania crowd and covid and don’t want to be in traffic

That match was definitely a classic. No way in hell they walked out because of that match itself.
I don’t think this was actually true. It pretty sure it was just Dave meltzer at the height of him helping tony Kahn by being super negative about wwe.
Dave Meltzer be lying
Backlash 2018 and Hell in a Cell 2019 definitely has to be on this list. Also, that Rhonda and Shayna match should have been a lions den match.
Technically Blacklash 2018 was on the list granted it's just one match from the card
Agreed or even a Fight Pit,Submission or an I quit match would've been other alternatives
@@Kalel2.0submission would have been nice, they rarely use that stipulation.

3:40 that’s funny cause i remember being at Summerslam live and i don’t remember us fans in the Detroit that night walking Out on that match

It’s interesting that Metzler made the comments about the fans leaving when he wasn’t there himself to confirm or deny it.
Meltzer's always been full of shit
Dave talks so much 🐂 💩 it’s not even funny.
Nahhhh see I was there LIVE for that Alexa Bliss Charlotte segment on the ground level, and I saw NOBODY leave, I enjoyed that segment with the insults and extra cursing thrown in between
Yeah the segment was really not that bad and some fans were into it
Yow were looking around the arena to see if somebody left?
@@blackdaze5052 no but where I was sitting I could see all the exits and staircases and no mass groups or anything like that were leaving
I was at the Last Smackdown of 2022, and the inverse happened. People were rushing back from restrooms and concessions for Owens/Cena vs Reigns/Zayn

Cool reaction as always Ross 💯
When i used to go to wwe shows in the mid to late 2000s, whenever there was a woman's match, I'd think, "piss break!"
When I went to watch wwe at manchester,uk,I would go for a toilet break during the divas matches but didn't leave.
We took a smoke break during Rhonda v Shayna at SummerSlam and it looked like everyone else did too.
That alexa and charlotte segment yea i would have walk out to 😂😂
Meltzer was full of shit on saying that people walked out dude. Hell Alexa got people to chant the name of the doll she gave Charlotte.
@@petersonofleo11Why would Meltzer even lie about it? He really has nothing to gain
bro, i was at summerslam, i fell asleep while the shayna and ronda match was on…

Same thing I was thinking
CM Punk vs Undertaker was the best match of that Wrestlemania
Cena vs. Rock II didn’t need to happen. It wasn’t that bad, but insanely predictable.😂😅

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Alexa's goddess persona was the only thing she needed. She didn't need a change at all.
I think they brought her value down pairing her with Bray wyatt
