Whats the best mini tool (leatherman, SAK etc) scissors for fine thread cutting? E.g. thread does not get 'eaten' in between the blades and frayed but precisely cut. (Lady crafter here - love your channel!.) edit: your 4:43 second cleanup snip demonstrated well. But still interested to hear if you find others do a better job!

You may want to look at the Nextool Mini Sailor Lite or the Mini Flagship Pro which have some of the best scissors that I've tried and I think would be well suited for cutting fine thread. Thanks for commenting!

I think even if the tabs broke, the pliers would still function. It just wouldn't have a detent slowing down the undeployment of it. That should be fine. I wouldn't call it fatal. Plenty of multitool don't have a detent there for its plier function.

Thanks for commenting! When I first got it I wasn't sure. It's a great size for a multitool.

Did they fix the tab issue?

I don't know if it is an actual known issue. It is just something that I noticed and wasn't sure how it would hold up since the steel isn't the most durable.

Can anyone recomend a multitool in this more compact size and that it woul be under 50$?

What tools do you need or use the most? Are pliers important? There are some good options out there in this size and price point. It depends on your specific use case. I'm sure I and others can suggest a few good models based on what you are looking for.
