It was also theorized that Mr. Campbell or that old ass guy who's on the FBI list is David's assaulter, but David is oblivious of that fact as he idolized up to him. Even when he was a kid. I don't know what started this theory as basing it on that scene is a bit of a stretch, but yeah.
