Gehenna | Project Sekai Fan MV

Apologies for anyone who saw the initial upload! There were some complications and I had to re-upload it. But it's here, another project sekai PMV! I decided to really take some notes this time around from some MVs I've seen, and letting that influence my style in this video, so it may be different from what you all are normally used to. It's definitely been a great exercise, both in art and editing, and I couldn't be more proud of this final product.
As for why I chose this song in particular... Admittedly, Project Sekai's upcoming third anniversary has been giving me a lot to think about. I picked up the game around last year, coinciding with a pretty dark time with my mental health. Nightcord at 25:00's story felt like almost an exact copy of what I was dealing with, and it was one of the things that kept me holding on throughout that time. Listening to Gehenna just reminded me so vividly of myself back then, and I dealt with that the only way I know how: pouring those emotions into a video.
I guess I'm just grateful for what this game did for me, and so, cheers to me and anyone else who could say that N25 really did save people with their music.
