Yo kensei i watched the vod and laughed a bit when it turned out that i am not the only one dying to mutants on this map lol, thanks for being basically the last man standing playing this game
I absolutely hate the Desolated Wasteland. Noise can already be an issue enough with Mutants having such sensitive hearing, having one Mutant covering HALF the map for it's noise detection radius and having just 3 archers be enough to have one come at you at mach 10 is just stupid. Especially if your Mutie gen is bad and all angles are covered by them. 50% noise detection and zombies getting some extra speed is just dumb. Gotta babysit rangers constantly or they over pull extremely easily...it's all just annoying and forces you to only use rangers for like the first 30+ days. I mean, doesn't help that I reject snipers (hate them) and play with almost exclusively soldiers...but still, hate being forced to play one specific way and gimping myself for it. Still managed to beat this map with soldiers only and now just got Caustic Lands left before I have beaten all the survival maps.
Actually desolate wasteland is better to watch as it keeps us on the tenterhooks till wave 45 or whereas caustic lands is interesting till sniper ball is up which is probably at day 30 and then ezpz imo
Here's what I do for health bars: Bind show healthbar to a numpad key number. Press that key and numlock (while numpad is activated) at the same time to always show the health bars.
just won my 3rd 700% and theres another kensei video online :) what a sweet timing btw how did you change your game speed? for me its way slower and i cant find anything in the settings (no i dont talk about the highlands speed reduce)
@@KenseiTV oof i found the setting you are talking about though the description is rather... cryptic... it sais the setting lets the game run smoother on better setups.. thanks alot for the reply though =)

Im not very up to date on how much attention this game has, is it really dying as far as numbers go?
@@er4din903 2.3k playes on steam, so i will say its not dead (age iv has 5k, age 3 has 1.7k and age 2 10k for compare)

I'm stuck on this one it sucks but watching your vids helps alot.
This is arguably the most addicting/frustrating map of all time
Desert maps always seem to have a lack of pockets.

Comeback king! I like this map over most of the custom maps, just lots of close calls. I wish TAB had a better end game though.

There should be a "Fast timer optimization" option in the graphic settings to speed up the game
