I did a 10 hour cross country drive from Jaco to Puerto Viejo and in the middle of that drive, we drove up to view an active volcano (Irazu). Yes, the cross country roads were scary at times with plenty of potholes and obstacles to avoid, but it was, the absolute, most beautiful drive I ever had in my life. It was everything that you’ve seen in magazines but even more beautiful. Great video, thanks for sharing 🙏🏼
I just watched this video and immediately had to subscribe. Both your narration and videography are so well done! Looking forward to future videos. You’ve got a true FAN i👍🏾
Correction: It's actually not required to hire a guide to hike in Cahuita. A guide can usually spot animals and plants that you might miss, but I hiked it unguided with my daughter a couple of weeks ago without a problem.
Oh sorry! I wasn’t trying to mislead… I really tried to highlight the best of what I saw but I’m new at this and still trying to figure it out. I’d be happy to help you out if you need any tips or advice on anything!
@7:25 ....One more of those familiar events and i think we can say you're cursed when it comes to these rides out here for every venture you're on, lol!! Sorry the snorkeling part wasn't as thrilling but you still managed to make the best of it, it seems. Nice video overall again, those drone shot angles and your narrating was pretty cool to see and listen to...P.s, i beat the timer...think i'm still safe (for now atleast) LMAO!! XD
A few years back I read that there was a Caribbean gang that was targeting tourists. I believe they have since been apprehended. Is it safe to hike alone in the area these days?
I went through Nomad America. I don’t think it was a scam at all, they really worked with us the entire time to make sure we had everything we needed. They don’t sponsor my videos or anything but I do highly recommend them.
The road to the Caribbean is paved and not the dirt road shown on the video. I should know, I was driven by friends from Guanacaste through San Jose to the Caribbean from July 2 to July 11!
Zero hidden fees for us, they were straight up with descriptions and cost up front and No hassle check in/out and great transportation. Nomad America doesn’t sponsor me or anything but I would highly recommend them!
When I went I had to provide a negative test and take the health screening forms but I don’t think they require anything like that anymore. Double check the travel restrictions for the latest info cr.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/
Costa Rica has 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of nighttime, if you’re going to complain about the early sunsets then just wake up early and smell the coffee and don’t sleep in in the morning. Don’t waste your time if you only got 30 days get out of your comfort zone…
Best part of the video is the subtitles for the spanish music at ua-cam.com/video/bqLZidrFpuo/v-deo.html. Fantastic quality Ro, proud of you, and keep up the great work
I love your storytelling perspective, this is so refreshing to see, content creators making art and providing information simultaneously!🔥
Thank you so much for the kind words and support!! It means a lot 🙏
Costa Rica! Lived there for a few yrs and would love living there again ! Thanks for sharing!

I did both guided and unguided hikes, and I must say the guided is much better! Because as you said they see things that we miss.
loved the storytelling and video... but i came for a puerto viejo travel guide, the title got the best of me lolll

Did you travel in October? Planning to travel in October
I was there in August and it was pretty rainy but October should be a beautiful dry time to go!

Where did u rent the suv and is it really a scam to rent?

Where did you get your visor and swimsuit?
Swimsuit is from Shein. I don’t remember where I got the visor but probably Amazon! Lol
Waaw mezing 🥰🥰🥰♥️♥️

Hi, how was the car rental price? Costa Rica has a bad reputation for car rentals due to hidden fees.
Zero hidden fees for us, they were straight up with descriptions and cost up front and No hassle check in/out and great transportation. Nomad America doesn’t sponsor me or anything but I would highly recommend them!

Good thing you put that mask on for the outdoor restaurant.
I just need to follow you in to the bedroom; you'd never get any sleep 😅
