Please take this as constructive criticism! I think Mary is over shopping. Lou the last videos I’ve seen, you have been really good at deciding replacements or even refunds and you only second guess yourself because of Mary. I think you’re missing out on a lot of money because she doesn’t really enjoy it but you’re not as bad at it as you think and you should just try to do it on your own. Get used to a certain store and only take batches from there for awhile so you will know where everything is. Take advantage of IC giving you these batches because soon they won’t like they do to us veterans. But yet it’s your gig but I just know you’re a lot better than you give yourself credit for. That will give Mary a break and you can still bring in the money
Instacart covers up to 10$ of tips that are removed without any fault of your own. They wouldn’t have covered the whole tip, but you should have been able to get 10$ of it back . Next time maybe call support and see what they tell you. Regardless sorry that happened - frustrating for sure ,
Tip baiting in my opinion is even worse than not tipping, you really have to be a special kind of low life to tip bait like that. It happened to me a few times. Edit: You literally said the same in the video ahah and I agree
31:54 it’s saying barcode not found. Not incorrect item. That happens to me too sometimes. You just have to take a pic of it and confirm it’s the right item.

I love watching you guys and all the tips. I do uber eats, doordash and instacart in the same area as you guys. I had taken like 2 months off now I'm back at it. I just did a lunch shift with uber eats because i couldnt get on doordash, i worked for 1 hour and got $38.80 for 3 orders. 2 were liquor orders and the last lady gave me a $21 tip. Western Suffolk is so hit and miss!!
The problem with this tip thing is that its not really a tip. Its a bid for your service. Tips are supposed to be given after the service is provided. If these company's were more transparent with the customers they would tell them that they only give us 2 or 3 dollars per trip and if they would like to add to that in order to get their delivery.
Dang $36 tip? That's so rare, but I sure would've taken it to. Congrats for snagging that awesome batch. Ok wait..I have to change my comment, because of the tip bait. 😢 still, $20 tip isn't too shabby.
I've been to Pizziola many times. It's an extremely popular place. I once went on a Friday and there were stacks of 30 or 40 pies and bags over their ovens that was overwhelming. You have to be very careful there to check they gave you everything on the customer's order, because they get overwhelmed with similar orders.
I feel like something always happens when you get one that's close to home; either the order gets cancelled, it's too long a wait, or you get one close to home like an hour into your shift lol.
I had nontips yesterday but decided to take them to keep busy...and what the customer was doing is seeing if they're order came quickly and correctly. I got nice tips from orders that were nontips.
