I work for a Budweiser distributor. Thx for your support. I got a extended fuel screw off eBay for my DR650 . It is just a long one that you can get your fingers on. I like the design of your screw and it is a competitive price.
I remember in one of your previous videos you mentioned any ideas for videos. What about exploring old sections of rt 66.

Found this while working on a friend's XR. Made sense while the carb was out and apart. Works great.
I added a small index mark on the knob for reference when adjusting the amount of turns. I'll definitely spread the word to friends who have XR's down here in Southern AZ.

Nice mod. I am currently building a basket case 1996 xr650L into a scrambler and live in Colorado. I will definitely want one when I get this thing closer to being finished. Top end needed rebuild and found a rooted counter shaft too. Oh well. Nice job man.
Nice! Something that I have switched to is running 100% premium fuel all the time. Seems to resolve everything. The mixture screw sounds like a great deal. The only real Issues I have now are it idles high on really hot days. Something like this you can adjust while riding or at a stop light, super useful!
Everyone I know has or wants a DR 650 with any accessory available . My DR 650 has a TKM 40 pumper and thumps reliably at a crawl , still that would change with enough elevation . I imagine these external on the fly adjustments could be nice too have . Ride'um Cowboy

From watching your videos: Found a used, but excellent condition light tint Spitfire screen inc all the brackets and postage on eBay for $40. Mounting it on my XRL this week for an overnight camping trip next weekend.
Thanks! I love that windscreen, just make sure you tighten it down real hard. You may even want to put some blue loctite on it.
@@FridaysTheBomb Thanks for the tip! Would this be due to vibration (I call my XRL Ol' Shakey), or air flow at speed? Was thinking of adding a small bracket to the cowl that would help support and hold the screen down. Mine has t-bolts to hold the adjustment rods in place...cant tell on yours...set screws?

You have a very unique video style and would hate to see these vids stop, but your vids cost more to make then some kid playing fortnight in their dads apartment. Still if you were putting out desert riding/exploration vids 2 times a week you would get 10K subs by Q2. Stay safe!

Does your bike wheelie easily even that large gas tank?
Honestly I've never tried it on this bike
My xr650l with the 5.8 gal acerbis tank is easy to pull up in 1st and 2nd gear. On a slight incline, 3rd is possible, but it takes quite a bit of work.
I don't see the XT in your garage. Did you sell it?

No but I may consider it. I'm working on one for the DR650 at the moment, and later this year the KLR and TW200

I drink IPAs and piss budwieser. An exhaust comparison would be cool. Is there a reason you didn't up grade your header pipe?
I've never done anything to my exhaust. The previous owner installed the slip on, and "deburred" the stock header pipe. It would look better with a matching header though
I installed the powercore 4 on my 650l but held off on the header because I have heard you may have to re-jet. What are your thoughts? mine may have already been done Idk

I have the FMF powerbomb header on my 650L. Not worth the money, and probably doesn't do much for performance. But, it looks rad. That being said, the rad factor in no way is worth the cost.
