It seems we also are raising children backwards, as well. We "leave" children to themselves in their "teens"... We don't focus on discipleship then. We disciple them, whish I think is true, from birth (train up a child ), then when they become a "teen" we let them "go" and see what "they decide"... "Leave them to themselves". This brings into question the word for "child". And "Go make disciples". I guess the issue of baptism may also need to be addressed... Since the " baptizing "of infants involves the parental responsibility of beginning" discipleship ". Thank you for addressing these questions. May we all go search the Scriptures ourself and not so quickly follow this man as the " following of "other guys" mentioned so "easily" happened. May we be Berean....
