Tbh,, Joy making that cute little mistake just shows the fact that Red Velvet dance practices are authentic and weren’t just recorded to match the “dance practice” trend. They really were practicing and that’s why Red Velvet is always just pure perfection. They do things with authenticity and originality, and i think that’s beautiful😌

i'm so glad i scrolled down to see a lot of comments abt yeri and i seriously think this choreography really showed how amazing she is at dancing! imo part of the reason people gloss over her as a dancer is bc it's not trying to be "sexy" - not that there's anything wrong with dancing sexy?? it's just people expect female idols to dance kinda sexy all the time which is :|

yesss sometimes people forget about that. Also, the choice of clothing can also affect the way you dance. If you dance in pretty clothes but not a functional one, its gonna hard to move since you'll feel really restricted
It is very hard to sing properly and dance since your breathing is different. That is why in certain live performances the high power singers like Wendy and Taeyeon will stand still for a second or two to belt out their high note or hold a note and then jump back into the dance. I think people forget or don't understand that they aren't actually singing in the videos with the full dances.
