    Pocket Jacks was a clear fold, I don't get your willingness to lose your stack every time when you're being completely priced out. You're a good player and I'm binge watching your vids currently but it just seems like you're a bit of a calling station and I admire you for not editing any of it out.

    How much do you think is enough to start my poker journey? I’m making $700 a week at my regular job and that money I could easily make playing 1/2 and 1/3 until I’m comfortable to move up to 2/5. But for someone that want to play poker for a living, how much should they at least have??

    JJ is a clear fold. The guy shoved $900 in a $500 pot with players still left to act behind him. He has a 10 or at least two big hearts.

      @@nickjacob1232 a scared weak tight player who just wants to “protect his hand” from flush draws, weaker 10s, any pocket pairs, cause he doesn’t want to make any decisions later. Not a bad play at a call happy table that doesn’t like folding though

      @@guillermoalvarez9400 Yes, that’s exactly how weak right players act. They shoved the money early by fear of being drawn out against and so they they have to face a tougher decision on the next street. To me it’s clear he has a 10 with a small chance he has AK suited for the nut flush draw and two overs. But given that he still has players behind him even the flush draw is unlikely because he’d be afraid of someone sandbagging a 10. So, 95% chance he has a 10 there.

    Hi Lex I think the JJ hand you just have to put the money in. You said it yourself you have the nut overpair with no ❤ so really, if you can't call down with this hand then what are you calling with. Just some 10x and you don't even have all the offsuit 10x from that position. These guys arent nitty vegas regs, this is a florida private game so you do have to pick spots to give action, this looks like a good one.

    Hey Lex, how do you find yourself adjusting when players are calling far wider than they should pre and pots are often 3-5 players to the flop?

      You mean in like EVERY game nowadays?? I tighten my range and try to 3 bet big to price out pot odds fish. Sometimes it works, other times you still gotta beat the entire deck!

    It depends, if I was super deep stacked I would call. Pocket Jacks hand I would FOLD because he could have pocket queens, kings or aces. But to answer - I would FOLD, wait for a stronger hand

    On the JJ hand at 2:56 i think it’s more likely he has a weak 10 or a nut or near flush draw. He could have QQ but i feel that and KK as well as AA would have raised preflop. So mostly a fold with black jacks and definitely a fold with a heart. Because you block that. But it’s tough. I probably still call

    Wasting winning positions cost you more than any loss. Youre betting like 2x-4x pot post flop like no shit you have a strong hand, against regular players just slowplay for max value, most people arent gonna overthink that hard

    Bad beats with quads on board are the worst. I lost a huge pot once after flopping a full house with pocket 8s on 8 3 3 board with turn 3 river 3 runout. Villain bet flop big I re-raised. Bet turn and guy jammed with AK.

    Wow what are the chances Pocket QQs loses to AK in a Quad Board!!! I believe this is the FIRST TIME I have ever witnessed that!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I mean even after the flop, you're saying/thinking "NO ACE, NO KING (never ever even considering 'no jack')" ... and low and behold on the run out there is no ace/no king but yet still lose!!!??? UNREAL!!!

      he plays a ton and shows us the interesting hands, so I think that's why you think he hits so many sets? you have like a 12% to flop a set, so it isn't that crazy

      @Jack Landgraff I have 78hrs played and I have hit 1 and it was on the nothing pot with one caller preflop. I haven't even folded pocket pair that would go on to hit a set. I average about 5 to 7 pocket pair a session. So that Math is insane to me. I have to have a wave of them coming. Lol I hope.

    I would call with the pocket Js for the action factor of a vlog but without that I would fold. Sometimes you have to fold the winning hand.

    Hey Lex, Not sure calling the All-in with J/J was the best move. Sure you could discount A/A and K/K... but at best you are against A/K or K/Q of Hearts...     I can't believe you called his shove into 4 players. He only has 10-X on that board. I also watch all of your vlogs and there is a pattern of you way over betting when you have the nuts or a monster hand. Almost all of the time they fold. I think you are losing a ton of value in these hands. You have to look more at the stack size, the game, and the opponent and then decide how much value can you extract from each one in that situation. Sometimes a smaller size will also induce a raise. I don't like to see you leave so much on the table in these made hands.

    Folding jacks. You really only beat 9s or AK and I don't see the player shoving with that especially 5 ways. You're losing to maybe queens, a 10 and pocket 6s which are all in his range there.
