Just do it, it's really much much easier than we tend to make it in our head. I watched every video I could several times over. When I finally tore my 48 down, I was like dude this is pretty self explanatory. Make sure you get your clearance set up correctly, and it can be a pain in the ass because you have to order things as you go. My rebuild kit didn't have everything needed. You will understand your truck much more once you tear it down. It was an awesome learning experience. Oh and most of this carries over to other transmissions too. My 6hp21 in my N54 BMW seems very similar as well. Unfortunately nobody really makes upgrade parts for it.

Thank you very much for your time and effort for putting it all together for us 10 or 10 and thank you for explaining the difference between the two different transmissions with the planes and everything else. I didn’t know that I also own a Dodge. Thank you.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

I love all the videos you put out! Even the 6.0 content 😂 I purchased a 47re core cheap out of a v10 truck that is stuck in forward just to tear into and learn some myself. No plans for the transmission yet just want to see the insides!

Always like the transmission build videos! Is it gonna be a 'Mer modded valve body? Definitely fun to watch you work on these, you've got the formula figured out.

Do you have any videos explaining the end play measurements and how to adjust those end plays with shims to bring it into tolerance?

What should be done on a 48re for 1300hp? I already have a santjer solid input, sonnax extreme shaft (the one that needs machining to work), sonnax fat output, muldoons manual VB, bolt in sprag , sonnax pistons, 4.2 lever, and a sonnax overdrive piston support. I do plan on drilling the hole for the sprag, but what else can I do? If it matters the truck 6.7 swapped 04, 209% flux sticks, and a s369 over an s485, with dual 12mm cp3s

Billet forward and direct drum, aside from that I think you got it covered lmao. You have a channel? I really want to check out this monster!. Might want a little bigger sticks however, depending on the rpm you want to spin. Even at stock rpm you will be pushing 200% kinda hard, and I think Flux tends to over rate their injectors a little. At least they used to. How you like the muldoon VB? I have a Firepunk comp in one truck, and I built the trans in my other truck with a Muldoon VB, and I have to say I love the way it shifts.

@joshuaquilliam2887 No channel, sadly. Yeah, I called flux, and they said the 200% or the 209% are more than enough for 1300. The muldoon vb is good. The shifts aren't too harsh. I did have an issue with the overdrive solenoid, but they sent me another harness to put in and it's been mint since.

@@joshuaquilliam2887 I also plan to spin it to 4.5-5k depending on how firepunk tunes it.
