@@mahdimend3505 Any top manager would get pissed if you got them Ricky Lambert and Aly Cissokho with Champions Qualification expectations. Shitty transfer policy even forced him to try a back three with Coutinho at full back
Man city is also using the the tactics used by leicester city.. in the last match against Leicester maharez was keeping the width were as sterling was moving in between the full back and centre back thus pulling the fullback providing the width for mendy..kdb was attacking the half space created by maharez by pulling the fullback... Bernardo silva and gundogan were sitting below the forward line and walker joined them as inverted fullback..i am not a very good analyst but i think they used it against Leicester where they won 3-1
Man City performs the maneuvr you have notice since injury of Aguero. If Jesus plays, Sterling plays closer to the goal and they often often exchange positions. And when it comes to famous inverted fullbacks, Walker is inverted ,but Angelino or Mendy play like winger. They've already played a lot of games this way. Good for you, you've noticed that, but this maneuver is mainly caused by the fact that Jesus is not Aguero. A different tactical profile and still a little less quality :D
Well i have seen them use it since they lost to man utd in the derby..but the way man city plays i really can't understand which one is more effective or which is less..they are so effective as a team..
I thought not, but you have convinced me. I’d not realised Leicester were such a “southpaw” formation. That’ll be why LFC’s left often get a bit more out of LCFC wide than their right & why Salah needs a long ball just like Vardy when they meet.
They're definitely going to finish 2nd. I really want them to challenge for the title because as a United fan, I don't wanna see Liverpool lift the Premier League title.
Seeing this video Ole doesn't seem like a tactician at all. United team players seem to have no roles whatsoever. If his tactics was 4231 with attacking full backs why did he take AWB when he's not good at attacking? He took James who's a LW and he's making him play at RW where he's not effective. Ridiculous transfers with no strategy whatsoever. Lot of planning was put into place while making Klopp and Pep's teams but united just doesn't seem they have any idea what the strategy is gonna be or how they wanna buy players in transfer windows coz Ole doesn't seem to have a strategic plan. Even if they buy Maddison and Grealish or any playmaker or Haaland it isnt gonna solve anything
