I have 2 Roadworns and they’re great, Lake Placid Blue 2021 and Butterscotch 2013.
I dont think Fender will ever make these guitars again because they were probably too labour intensive. If they do, they will probably cost a lot more. The nitro finish is amazing, it’s very thin and it looks 100 percent genuinely worn in. It’s not just the appearance, the nitro makes playing very comfortable.
Have to admit I did change the pickups for something a bit smoother.
The necks are different on mine too, the 2013 is slightly thinner C shape whilst the 2021 is thick U shape. I prefer the thicker one tbh.
Frets can be easily fixed, but mine are ok. Not as smooth as my American Vintage reissue. They are great guitars and definitely worth hanging on to, they will become collectable.

@@sergioserramusic I’ve seen one in the shop, I thought the relic finish looked a bit fake though.

@@Lincoln12933 Mh yeah it’s a bit too much for my taste, but still I’m curious! Although now I’m falling in love with relic nitro Charvels…

@@onairsebcycling thank you man! Actually it’s still the “old” one. I found an old stock and went with it, I was waiting for the new series because I played the new Vintera II and they’re very nice, but still no Road Worn version so I went with this!
