Real men do cry, I lost my wife this year, she was only 49 years old, believe me, I cried hard, and many times since. Love watching your videos and getting shown around the beautiful places in your country. You are a vegan inspiration. Big hugs and love from the UK.
Definitely gonna have video withdrawals when this series is over! Not sure what I'm gonna do at 5 a.m. every morning. Guess I'll go ride my bike! Thanks for taking us along for the ride, Tyler!
HEY TYLER! I hope the burrito hand-up helped you through that dark hour on this day. Really enjoyed riding out of Pescadero with you. If your ever in La Honda, look me up! -Jim
It absolutely did, I showed it in a clip sitting on my phone while I was riding and I hit a bump, and the whole burrito fell off my bike. But it stayed together, and I ate it anyways 😂
Love how much you’re in contact with your inner self, mate. If more of guys were like you, perhaps there’d be less suicides. Amazing series, thank you for doing this.
All the riders that come through the bike path in Sausalito... so awesome. I am so lucky to live *literally* next to the path in the houseboats. I see bikepacking riders like Tyler all the time going up and down the coast. Years ago, I bike-camped across Washington... then Canada-Mexico and this path ties so much of it all together for me. I ride it every week. It's such a lucky place to live. It's also amazing when you ride through your home territory after being in "the wild" for so long. You feel connected to the land for the whole trip, but especially when you get on the home routes. Keep the rubber side down! So glad you passed through and what a great series you are producing! - edit - ha, the conversation about riding alone. Man, did I ever get into my own head for the 2100 miles of riding. I learned so much about myself by being on the road on my own... tired, hungry, meeting cool people, seeing awesome things. All life-changing.
Tyler - I'm not a cyclist that makes films but a film maker that rides bikes; all the bikes!😌 Now, he proceeds to virtually ride routes that are nearly impossible by two-wheelers powered by human effort. Going to such lengths (pun intended) to spread the love and the positivity to all of us viewers. And there's the community that jumps out from wherever to support whenever they could. You, Sir Tyler, are one of the greatest blessings to humanity. Keep pedaling and rolling them wheels whilst most of us would continue to pray for your safety, health and mentality and cheer you on! Peace on to you always!😁🙏
Tyler, i love all your videos, but through all these videos, i am loving the "friends of VC" roadside and riding chats, and how much inspiration your videos give to others and their desire to come ride with you and give back.
When I planned to stream my live location and do IRT content, I had NO IDEA what was going to become of it. On a project where I thought I’d be alone all day, ended up never happening. Wild.
Dude, I've watched you for 10+ years and I have to say I absolutely love your videos and progress. As a man who hates his job and career overall, you're an inspiration to always work towards a better life. Love these short videos, yuh!!!
This Series is so genuine, you being real, and letting everyone into your life during your ride, this tops every Bike Channel I watch. Seriously. Thank you dude
Hey TYLER! I can't believe I was there to spot the only flat you had for the entire trip! Wow, glad I saw it. Not sure if I even had time to explain after all that, but I had raced at Ironman 70.3 Santa Cruz, the day before this. I got up early to meet you in Half Moon Bay. All I had with me was my TT bike and race gear. I was very happy you enjoyed my rice-ball snacks, and even wanted seconds! I wished I could have ridden with you longer, but what a great experience to be a small part of this adventure. BTW, your Instagram stories were sooo excellent to follow each day - many of us could appreciate that. THANK YOU!
Just started watching this episode during my endurance spin. I'm glad you can cry too! I wish more men would. The world would be a better place. Thanks for doing your part to make that happen. 😂
Awesome man! The algorithm brought your channel to me and this was the first series of yours I watched over my morning cup of coffee. One of the best things I’ve seen on UA-cam yet. Life isn’t just sunshine and _____. Sometime you get a bag of _____. So true! Thanks for sharing the ups and downs, raw emotions, and a bit of comedy. Gotta go back and watch your previous adventures. Love the content!
That’s wild, my most popular series is called the impossible route. It’s a three season 11 episode feature length film series that was shot documentaries style. This originally was going to be a single film and done in that same way, but I decided there was just too much story to tell so I broke it up into these daily episodes and more like a Vlog format. I think it’s a great way to tell the story but it often doesn’t go outside of my audience. So I’m actually super stoked that one, it got recommended to you. And two, that you took the time to watch them.
Such awesome shots, what a story. California is a BLAST. Greetings from Europe. Keep going dude, you are blessed to have the opportunity to do it. love the series.
I love that cry part. Im in the navy and when deployed and feel that exact same cry whenever we are coming back and it’s just couple days out to see the family!
Love the moto references! (And ET3 is undoubtedly one of the goats of the sport). Always look forward to your great videos and Keep rockin the positive vibes!
I can so recognise that feeling when beeing away and fattigued . your emtions are running high and feelings are stronger than ever, cherish those moments dude.
Dude, I freaking love this series! It's so inspirational, and like you said Life isn't all sunshine and tiddies.! I dug out my bike today and went for the first of many rides. I hope you make it to the East Coast at some point, How about a ride to the keys?? and dude where do you get those Colorful bibs I want some!!
Damn you, man. Here I am recovering from four back to back ultras with six weeks til the next one, and you have me wanting to bust out and do something crazy while I wait! 😂
No apologies! Be proud of your kids and show it-even with tears. Here’s a poem in your honor: I am a man And I can cry for the fading scent of flowers. I am strong But weep my brother’s plight. I am a man And I will strive but I can also cry.
Loved this episode, super cool to see you ride through our backyard. Also, when I saw the news headline of the biker trying to cross the landslide this summer, the first though in my head was "I hope that wasn't VC" 🤣
Dude, I do a variation of your Tomac/rider number association. I fully count the number of pumps it takes to get my tires to the desired psi, and then I assign the appropriate pro mx rider to the number of pumps it took. Today was a Kyle Chisolm in the front, and a Adam Cianciarulo in the rear 🤣
To all those who complain about vegetables. When you are eating 10,000 calories a day, you really don't need to worry about micronutrients. You'll get more than enough from whatever it is you are eating (unless you're eating literally just butter). In a normal diet vegetables are really important, in these kinda of super high calorie diets, less so.
If Jett does Jett things all year, there’s no chance for Tomac. But if Jett has a few mistakes like he did this year and Tomac can stay consistent and not have any weirdo races like in the past, Tomac could win the championship I think. That would be the most bad ass way to go out.
There should be, I’m very bad at creating a list of songs I use. You can use Shazam to find the song info, but I use a service that allows me to pull songs from a database that are copyright free. I spend about 1-2hrs a video trying to find the right tunes for the feel.
My style is very much inspired by him. I watched every one of his vlogs and really liked his style of quick storytelling. So it’s a privilege to have this compared to him in anyway.
Unlike the commuter big city scene where cyclists race by you without announcement , long distance riders are a big friendly community that helps each other out.
OK, so it was strange on this trip. Usually I listen to 70% podcasts 30% music. But because I was constantly vlogging, I ended up having the ear earbuds act as earplugs. So I probably listened to podcasts or music only about 20% of the day and the rest of the time it was just kind of muted or muffled. It actually kept me super locked in and I thoroughly enjoyed it, which was a very strange experience.
@@TheVCAdventures Thanks for the reply. I asked because I always ride with a small bluetooth speaker on my bars. I listen to music but use the speaker so I can still hear traffic. There's nothing better than hearing a great song as you power up a long climb. Love the videos.

Yeah this is an amazing series
the part talking about the ropes from your kids made me cry too. I appreciate the emotions dude
HEY TYLER! I hope the burrito hand-up helped you through that dark hour on this day. Really enjoyed riding out of Pescadero with you. If your ever in La Honda, look me up! -Jim

Outstanding!!!!
I love everything about this series- 💯 percent authentic. And add free!? Thank you Tyler
Crying out of joy and having the vulnerability to share it with thousands of followers. What I think is that you're awesome.
Love how much you’re in contact with your inner self, mate. If more of guys were like you, perhaps there’d be less suicides. Amazing series, thank you for doing this.

Another Bike Shop, those guys are the best and have saved me countless times.

Hey Tyler, don't apologize for a good cry! Some of the most memorable memories as an adult are of when you have a good cry❤
Love this series man!
Ditto

This Series is so genuine, you being real, and letting everyone into your life during your ride, this tops every Bike Channel I watch. Seriously.
Thank you dude
Love the blueberry muffin story. My grandmother always had butterscotch candy. Any time I have one I think of her.
Thank you for taking us along! What a ride! Vamos!!!

Wow what a good series!!!! So well done
Glad to be sharing the journey with you. 🤗
So much respect for how you are putting yourself out there. Thank you

30:40 lol, so funny Tyler included the @donwinston posts about the vegetables. Go Tyler!
Quite a burrito experience!!!
Really enjoying this series. Also you’re brave to apply the 5 second rule in a hotel room.
Thank you broo, these are great !
dude, perfect timing!!! 🌯🌯
7 - Bubba Stewart (all time GOAT)
No apologies! Be proud of your kids and show it-even with tears. Here’s a poem in your honor:
I am a man
And I can cry for the fading scent of flowers.
I am strong
But weep my brother’s plight.
I am a man
And I will strive but I can also cry.
❤
"It was getting dark... but now I've sucked on the magical brown bean" - typical office worker after lunch 🤣 LETS GO VC!!!
hahah absolutely loved that early morning delirium you had! Just rolling xD
Love you’re also a moto guy! I see ET3 as well
ALL LOVE BROTHA!!!!! PURE JOY!!
My bro ,the money you spend in one day, I have a month as a student, of course. Poor student 😢
Just forward dude, you are breaking the limits! ❤
Finally, some vegetables! Lots of them! 🥦🥦👍
Ride on!!
Loved this episode, super cool to see you ride through our backyard. Also, when I saw the news headline of the biker trying to cross the landslide this summer, the first though in my head was "I hope that wasn't VC" 🤣
I’m not gonna lie man, if that guy had not done that, there’s a very high chance I would’ve tried to just walk across it.
VC espresso cups with "Glad this coffee doesn't taste like tea...", and vice versa!
Been watching Eli Tomac since Stone Spray Sandwich. Still my favorite flic. Woke up to that DVD menu so many times.
You are ripping it! A Purple Patch athlete to the rescue on the tyre (the P jersey).
I get those cries sometimes they feel awesome
Bro, tomato sandwiches are THE BEST!!! Mayo, sliced tomato, salt and pepper. Delicious!!
Big Tomato Propaganda wrote this
New routine… wake up, watch this series, think I should probably ride my bike… thanks for the motivation
I'm here for my daily VC fix. Got pretty philosophical last episode, let's see what good life lessons we get today.
Go go go 🎉🎉🎉
Dude, I do a variation of your Tomac/rider number association. I fully count the number of pumps it takes to get my tires to the desired psi, and then I assign the appropriate pro mx rider to the number of pumps it took.

#3 = Dale Earnhardt!
Love your content!!

I think it’s so cool that Tom Selleck rides bikes.
My friends and family have suffered the last few days with me constantly singing "Oh my chicken pie, what iiiiis in my eye!"
It’s stuck in my head 😂
❤ from the philippines! 🤙
28:10 Number 3 is definitely Joey Dunlop for me. I hope he rests in peace.
As soon as you said #3 I thought D Wade. LOL
Love you brah’
So glad you called out that nutrition troll
Really enjoying this series. Kinda selfish but wish it was longer. You gotta get back to your family.
pure emotions
ET3 Baby!

Number 3, Dale Earnhardt. Do it for Dale!
lols....called out the veggies comment from a few eps back.
Is there a soundtrack available? Loving the music you include in the videos.

ET3 🤘
This has Casey Neistat feels when he did daily vlogs.
Ty For all the effort Ty
My style is very much inspired by him. I watched every one of his vlogs and really liked his style of quick storytelling. So it’s a privilege to have this compared to him in anyway.
What’s the size of you’re new tires thanks
We do moto riders always with our In-n-out receipt
Unlike the commuter big city scene where cyclists race by you without announcement , long distance riders are a big friendly community that helps each other out.
Love these videos. Curious to ask if you are riding to music. I notice you're wearing some type of headphones. Looking forward to day 8.

#3 is always going to be Dale Sr
Also, as a long time viewer, whenever I see a mike's bikes sign, I think "f**k them guys", all from your Crit days 😅
I love tomatoes 🍅🍅 I eat them like apples. 😂
That is psychotic to me.
Left the key in the door…again
