  • Follow me on my VFR return trip from Antwerp Int. Airport (EBAW) to Lelystad (EHLE). I was free to choose my own departure from the tower controller and due to time limitation I have chosen a North departure via VRP ALBER, just like the arrival. Next time I will surely request a fly-over of Antwerp city :).
This route was almost identical to the route out so some re-runs and deja-vu's here and there. At 37:05 DutchMil informed me of low-level Apache AH-64D's operating in my vicinity, however I was not able to spot them in flight. Another interesting segment was during monitoring EHHV radio and apparently an active runway change was in progress with some fun conversations about it.
Back at EHLE beginning arrival I was denied a requested straight-in due to busy traffic, however later the tower controller was kind to put me on a direct VRP X-ray instead.
Once on the ground during taxi, the P-51K Mustang (1:17:30) - "Trusty Rusty" - was still parked and on display.
