Admittedly I thought that at first, too. However, there’s two problems with that: 1.) Squidward’s a full grown adult, so him applying for a school meant for children/teenagers makes no sense. 2.) He might be cynical, arrogant, and a little unhinged, but he’s definitely not crazy enough to conceive a plan for global anarchy or to kill anybody like Junko is.
Buttercup as mystery student? In the original show, there was that one episode specifically about how she has no special skills... unless you count tongue-curling
Dib said that there was another student who was ultimate scientist, but the professor said that they were more like a staff member now - I think that staff member is Dexter, and the shadowy figure is someone else
My immediate thought was Double D, which would possibly link to his eventual disappearance; then again, he’s not exactly what I would call professional. Sure, he’s a smart kid, but Double D usually has to improvise with the resources he’s given.

my predictions for this story (not this video, just the story in general): Ed and Cartman are the blackened in one of the chapters, think a DRV3 Chapter 4 scenario. Double D, however, lives, as someone's gotta have some emotional trauma it's Danganronpa Dipper will pull a Kaede and Dib will take over because ahoge also Chris McClain will end up being Junko, it's too good to be fake, right? and/or Garfield, Mickey Mouse or Bill Cipher but my money's on Chris
I was expecting mabel to pull off a sayaka but she actually managed to kill her victim or dipper to be killed like kaede and made mabel the plot twist main character
Purple Dud In DR V3 everyone though Kaede was the main protagonist and wouldn’t die, since you know MC and stuff is needed for a story. Tehn suddenly out of expectation Kaede ends up dying and instead of her being the protagonist she was actually just a fake protagonist, she was MEANT to be killed either way, after that Shuichi takes her place as the real MC.
I think it’s buttercup because in nuthing special, she said she didn’t have a special power, Meaning she wasn’t allowed at hopes peak, but went with her sisters anyway.

The shadowy student’s dialogue sounds a bit like dexter, does it not? Also, no one’s mentioning the “ultimate scientist” they talked about, which could honestly either be Jimmy Neutron or the aforementioned Dexter.
Omg That's exactly what I thought. My smile widened when I saw the first dialogue. I watched Dexter's lab like crazy and remmeber the speech pattern well enough. That so reminded me of Dexter too. But someone mentioned Helga from Arnold, and it does sound similar to something she would say. And unlike De ter, I could see her being called unremarkable or ordinary (besides her major stoker tendencies being like a certain character😂🤣)

What we can deduce from this video: - There were interviews Prof. Membrane was doing for the students that have applied for Hope's Peak. The fact that none of them remember such things in the Prologue is enough to say that they definitely lost their memories like in the previous Danganronpa games - Dib and Prof. Membrane didn't see eye to eye when it came to Dib's talent but Prof. Membrane doesn't stop Dib - Dib mentions there being an Ultimate Scientist to which Prof Membrane dismissed as being more of a staff member due to their intelligence. This could either be Jimmy Neutron or Dexter since they are both very smart, however it's possible to it more alluding to Dexter as we have yet to see any 3D cartoons being introduced. - Star was applied because Prof. Membrane wanted to study how she was able to fool the human mind into believing imaginary things, not knowing that it was really magic - The cartoon Prof Membrane formed a partnership with a cartoon sponsorship company of sorts that is broadcasted around the world. Prof Membrane mentions that he needed to do something for them in exchange for their services, but what that was is still unknown. - Prof Membrane rejected an application because this person had no talent whatsoever, which is kind of blunt and cruel but it could be true - The shadowy figure is really shadowy, meaning that they can make themselves like that through cartoon logic. So characters with only small or no cartoonish stats such as Kyle and Morty are crossed out. This is speculation however as it's not a solid theory and other characters can cloak themselves, but it still seems to be the case so far - The shadowy figure could either be the traitor or someone who isn't present in the killing game at all. If they are present in the killing game, then Dib, Gaz, Star, Kyle, Morty, Blossom, Bubbles, Jenny, Charlotte, Ed and Eddy are out. Star has already been applied, Bubbles, Blossom, Dib, Gaz, Jenny and Morty were applied by their parents and are also considered scientific in Prof. Membrane's eyes, Kyle didn't intend to apply but Cartman did it anyways, Charlotte's too happy-go-lucky and kinda stupid to care if she didn't get in and Ed and Eddy both applied with Edd, meaning that their acceptance to Hope's Peak was legitimate, this is evident in the prologue as well when they questioned where Double D went. - If they are not present in the killing game, then the shadowy figure could be from a different cartoon since it's confirmed that there's more than the aforementioned nine cartoons shown in this killing game
My guess on who the cartoon Prof Membrane partnered up with could be the Total Drama Crew. Reasons being that Total Drama is a globally broadcasted show as seen in Total Drama World Tour and their partnership deal could be based on the fact if the show can garner as much if not more views than the Total Drama show. Not to mention,its not out of Chris's character to make contestants on the show suffer. However,seeing that this is based of danganronpa where characters will inevitably die...I'm not too sure how the show would not be shut down by the law. Perhaps the characters dont really die but think they are dead,kind of like danganronpa 2 where they are in a virtual world or sorts.
@@Cynicalhamptur that could be the case, and it could explain the sudden change in art style since the TDC would have to adapt to the other cartoons' art styles. But it still begs the question of how would the show still be running despite the characters' dying. My guess is that since cartoons like Rick and Morty and South Park where death is common exists in this world, people would perhaps see it as normal and claim that it's an act and that they'll come back. But when it's revealed that they are actually killed, that's when people would start drawing the line. Though I doubt that having a killing game show was in the contract when Prof. Membrane signed the agreement, other people like Professor Utonium and Jenny's creator would definitely object to having their kids go through a traumatic game
@@yourfriendlyeverydayhealer9306 My guess on the reason why they could have signed could be that they didnt read all of the fine print on the contract or was presented with a false contract that was manipulated by someone. Another candidate who could be able to pull something like this off would be Bill Cipher. I mean having the powers to manipulate reality would explain the different types of art styles being meshed all together. And his whole shtick is making deals with people by being cunning and twisting some parts of the deal/contract.

However, I kind of doubt it since this iteration of Dipper and Mabel are from the Gravity Falls finale so Bill had been defeated, but it's still a possibility

I have a few theories as to who the shadowy person can be -cartman, kyle, or eddy, as they don’t exactly have as strong a talent as the others, and eddy’s talent is very... hit or miss in the show -stan or kenny -zim -Double d or sarah
It can’t be Kyle, as he didn’t even want to be in the school, cartman signed him up for it as a prank, so if he was rejected, why would Kyle try to fix it?
could also be buttercup....in one episode of PPG its shown that buttercup doesnt really have any special talents that can be separated from her sisters (except curling her tongue) and she gets really competitive about it with blossom and bubbles also, i can see sarah acting like this, but double d acting like this would be completely out of character for him
some random theories i got on this vid: 1- The assistant. They mentioned the assistant was some sort of "Ultimate Scientist", so, it'd make sense if the assistant was Rick. 2- The shadowy person. The shadowy person had a very round head. The four people I remember who had a round head were: Vendetta, Charlotte, Bubbles and Blossom. BUT since they said they had been rejected, I think the shadowy person, is none other than Buttercup. First, she's not a participant. Second, in the show, there was an episode who was all about Buttercup finding their secret talent. I think that episode relates to this. Cause from Blossom's story, Prof. Membrane acknowledges that the ppg girls had talent as crime fighters, but since they had an advantage over the other students, he wanted them to enroll as something that didn't involve their powers and Buttercup was just unlucky. I think the mysterious person is gonna be the Hajime/Izuru of this universe. My theory: Timmy Turner/Nega Timmy. With Bill Cipher pulling the strings.
For a minute I thought maybe we would see some free time events like the one you dropped with Eddy months back, but this is even better. Some lore dumps I can get behind, I’ll be tuning in to see what information we’ll be getting. Also congrats on the first part of the prologue reaching the 50,000 view mark! Glad that your project is bringing in people who either waited for this to happen for years or new people who recently found out about this series.
I have a feeling that the rejected kid is 1. The mastermind and 2. Cartman. The dialogue sounds very self centered, just like him. If Cartman had a talent, it would be something more on the lines of Ultimate Schemer or Prankster. It also makes sense for Cartman to be a possible mastermind since he's capable of planning complex schemes (example; Scott Tenorman's chili). I hope I'm wrong, but these are my two cents on who the shadowy figure is
Random thing: A lot of people are saying that Dib is going to be the mastermind or think. I don't think Dib is the mastermind only because Kyoko's father built Hope's Peak Academy (if I remember correctly,if not tell me please) I think Dib is going to be maybe the Kyoko, Chaki, and Maki of the group... But that's what I think though and my theory. I'll change my opinion when we get more updates on it.
So I have a theory (still a work in progress): Killing Order: CHP 1 Victim: Blossom Utonium CHP 1 Killer: Jenny Wakeman (This one might be horribly confusing since almost everyone is talking about how Dipper is a Decoy Protag, but I think Blossom is gonna try to get the group together so no one dies. One day, Blossom and Jenny are having an argument [probably something small like curfews], and when she pushes Jenny in anger, Jenny will retaliate and hit her as hard as possible, accidentally killing her in the process.) CHP 2 Victim: Star Butterfly CHP 2 Killer: Morty Smith (This is is definitely a work in progress, This is just a random idea really.) CHP 3 Victim: Charlotte CHP 3 Killer: Vendetta (I heard some people say that Charlotte will be the Mastermind, but I just don't see it. No joke, she literally has no intelligence. AT ALL. I think she would be "The Pure Soul who didn't deserve death", and the killer will be Vendetta. Why? Well because Charlotte was always a thorn on her side, and I can't imagine anyone else killing her.) CHP 4 Victim: Eddy CHP 4 Killer: MISTRIAL (This is probably never gonna happen, but I think Eddy would be killed by the Mastermind... But there isn't enough evidence for that. In fact, this will be one of the hardest cases yet. And unfortunately it will lead to what I call a " Mistrial", when a case has to end early since there simply isn't enough evidence.) CHP 5 Victim: Dipper Pines(?) CHP 5 Killer: Ed (This will, obviously, be the most heart-wrenching trial yet. Dib will take on Dipper's place for this trial, though it might be harder since Dib only deals with paranormal activity. Mabel [reasonably] is going to be a giant mess during this trial, accusing people left and right. So why is Ed the killer? You see, SOMEONE tricks Ed into believing that if he "whacks someone one the head really hard" and gets away with it, then he can leave with Eddy. This will obviously not be true and turns out to be a trap to get rid of Dipper.) CHP 6: This will be "The Mastermind Trial", but before the trial begins the remaining survivors find Professor Membrane... He's alive, just tied up and a bit underfed. When the trial beings, Prof. Membrane is the prime suspect of being the Mastermind, but it's then revealed that he was kidnapped and forced to watch the game. So, who is responsible for the killing game? 𝙀𝙧𝙞𝙘 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙣. You see, Cartman stormed into Membrane's office, pissed that KYLE didn't get accepted by him (Why? Because he wanted to make KYLE suffer in the academy for being a Jew). When he is told that KYLE appears to have absolutely no talent, he gets angry and attacks Membrane. He then decides that the best way to prove that KYLE deserves to be enrolled... Is by putting him in a killing game with 15 "better" students. He designed the game to make sure that Kyle will be the last one standing. So in the end, the Mastermind is defeated, and these several people step out of the Academy- Dib Gaz ZIM Bubbles Mabel Kyle (I was thinking of having Dipper end up in a coma, and I just realized that all the characters from Invader Zim lived, so I think I'm going to have to change this later...) @@pogoknight428 True, to be honest I was also thinking of Charlotte and Star being the two victims of Chapter three, with Morty as the killer. As a twist, Star would actually survive, as a way to put a twist on this trope. This theory was still a work in progress, so I will still planning it.
I could see the person with no talent being Dipper. After all, he's called the Ult. Detective. Considering the events it'd probably make a lot more sense for him to be something like Ult. Parapsychologist or something of the sort. Of course, it could also be either Zim or Cartman.
Rewatched this and I have to say, Membrane has a good taste. A series combining a bunch of different cartoons under one, unique art style that still captures their original designs? Truly a work of art 😉
why is my brain immediately defaulting towards mandy (from grim adventures) being the shadowy figure or something?? i mean she has the grim reaper but she has no specific talent, and the person seemed to be really angry about the rejection and that's one of mandy's defining traits and it's likely that's how she would react (the person was also insulting the professor). it also kinda makes sense for someone like her to be the mastermind or something, but maybe that's just me bc i love billy and mandy so much sbabfjxhdb.... regardless tho im super excited for the continuation of this series!

Its possible Lincoln is very smart when making plans and he has multiple sisters plus he able to deal with them. Since these are 15 students i doubt he cant deal with them. Plus most of the talents in the game is scientific while Lincoln is the ultimate planner that all he is.
I know I'm a bit late, (3 years late :/) but the creator seems to be putting in mostly humanoid characters. So I don't think we're gonna see anyone from TAWOG, also if it was Rick (Or was it Bob?) he would have DEFINITELY put Gumball in the killing game.

...Huh. This is really making me think. At first I could’ve sworn that “shadowy figure” was Zim based on the dialogue but now... I’m not totally sure. I don’t want to rule it out entirely since I guess maybe Membrain’s attitude towards paranormal stuff like aliens would make him consider Ultimate... um, Ultimate Extraterrestrial Scientist or something like that wasn’t a real talent, but at the same time it could be someone completely different. Just because they sounded a bit like Zim to me doesn’t necessarily mean it *is* Zim after all.
I'm also thinking about the shadowy figure being Zim becauseof his loud tone and dialogue, but I'm also theorizing it could be Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory or Jimmy from Jimmy Neutron since they both are pretty smart but I'm leaning away from Jimmy more since he's more of a inventor than an "Ultimate Scientist" and the fact there aren't any 3D cartoon characters in Cartoons in Danganronpa.

Then again, the Professor probably doesn't know that but I'm still thinking it's Dexter. The one thing that confuses me though is the fact Prof. Membrane says "In fact, the whole shadowy blur thing makes it hard to tell anything about you." which could mean the shadowy figure has a lot of cartoonish and can make them seem like just a shadowy blur by cartoon logic. It'd be fairly ironic if Dexter had high cartoonish on his stats since cartoon logic defies any and all laws of science.

They're a student, meaning nada an adult. Possibly Mandark or Dexter) On the document in the description of the Meet the Characters vid, it says a description of themselves and why they're enrolled as well. This rules out Zim and Cartmann.
OK so this is probably a ridiculous stretch but why do I feel like "Monokuma's" voice was actually much closer to Mickey Mouse's voice? Does Mickey Mouse have something to do with all this? Honestly, can't wait to see what the creators of CiDR have cooked up. I firmly believe you all will present your own storyline and not follow THH, SDR2 or V3 as imitating the plot of each would be too predictable for us to figure out.
Theory based off of gravity falls alone: the shadowy figure is Gideon. The shadowy figure seemed a bit offended The same way Gideon does andProf. Membrane said he had no talent. Plus he also called him door slamming child so I’m going with that theory. But I don’t think I’m correct because there are a lot of shows I haven’t watched but I’m sticking with it nonetheless.
So someone else made this theory but Eric might be the mastermind/the shadowy figure in talents... and hes not talking about him not being talented but Kyle. I mean his ultimate talent is very unexpected and cartman is unexpected and could be behind the killing game
Theories: I believe the sone of the professor would either be a protagonist or antagonist. This is because he is very intelligent and more. 2: If the shadowy person is gonna be the traitor. Then we can cross off three people. The green scientist, the paranormal kid, and star because the principal said he enlisted them. Also we got to consider which people might not have a good talent. Kyle seem like the one who don’t have a talent for example a Jew is a religion and can’t be granted a talent. Also the traitor in each game was someone we least expected and Kyle in the show was the nicest guy and would make sense that we would cross him out on murdering. 3: The mastermind. I am gonna use the villains from each character shows to see who could kidnap them all. All we need is the motive, the opportunity, and supply. Aka: I will not use dead villains, people like Rick, or villains from other cartoons. There is one person who could do this, smart and powerful enough to capture and erase these people memories. He have plenty of motives on why he done it. He have the opportunity. That person is Bill Cipher. Bill is powerful entity that can control time and space, also could cause chaos around in seconds. And yes I know this events took place after weirdmaggedon and Bill Die after it but there is proof he is alive. If you want to see the proof then search up film theory Bill is alive and Rick and Morty crossover they will explain how Bill is alive. Ok back now great, Bill motive is against these heroes and mostly Dipper and Mabel. Also am I the only one who find weird that Morty is here. Unless Bill kidnap Morty, also I believe Bill just stole the bear from the danganronpa universe make sense to me. But hey it is just a theory and this series will be awesome!
Kyle outright didn't want to attend. He was accepted because Cartman did it as a joke but he was given the green anyway, and his own parents encouraged him to do it, so he decided to make the most of it with his belief system. Kyle is probably the cleanest kid here.

Ight theory time: based on what prof membrane says we know the following .it is a child .it is self centered .it is rude .forgettable A list of people it could be Cartman, Zim, Gideon, And possibly Candace. Let’s elliminate a few, zim has a talent, that is recognizable as a real talent under prof membranes requirements. Candace isn’t rude. Now we are down to our final 2 Cartman and Gideon. While it would be cool for Cartman to be the mastermind Gideon makes more sense, for a few reasons,. 1 there is a bill cypher Easter egg is one of the vids, which made me think, who from gravity falls made a deal with the razzle dazzle dorito, GIDEON 2 what could gideons talent be, at first I thought influencer, but then that didn’t make sense, so I thought harder, and came up with this; ultimate warlock, think about it would go great with “you have no talent” and in the later seasons on grav falls Gideon turns to dark magic and making deals with bill. So i know a lot of people are guessing that the shadowy person is butter cup, because of the episode where it is shown that her only talent is curling her tounge, but wouldn't her being a good fighter, more so then her sisters be counted as a talent? I suggest. That its infact princess Morebucks from the power puff girls. Because she actually had no talents, every power and scheme she had was payed for. And the cloaked figure (who we assume is the same character) said "fine if they wont accept me, i wont accept them" like a spoiled child who isnt getting what she wanted.

Omg That's exactly what I thought. My smile widened when I saw the first dialogue. I watched Dexter's lab like crazy and remmeber the speech pattern well enough. That so reminded me of Dexter too.
But someone mentioned Helga from Arnold, and it does sound similar to something she would say. And unlike De ter, I could see her being called unremarkable or ordinary (besides her major stoker tendencies being like a certain character😂🤣)

What we can deduce from this video:
- There were interviews Prof. Membrane was doing for the students that have applied for Hope's Peak. The fact that none of them remember such things in the Prologue is enough to say that they definitely lost their memories like in the previous Danganronpa games
- Dib and Prof. Membrane didn't see eye to eye when it came to Dib's talent but Prof. Membrane doesn't stop Dib
- Dib mentions there being an Ultimate Scientist to which Prof Membrane dismissed as being more of a staff member due to their intelligence. This could either be Jimmy Neutron or Dexter since they are both very smart, however it's possible to it more alluding to Dexter as we have yet to see any 3D cartoons being introduced.
- Star was applied because Prof. Membrane wanted to study how she was able to fool the human mind into believing imaginary things, not knowing that it was really magic
- The cartoon Prof Membrane formed a partnership with a cartoon sponsorship company of sorts that is broadcasted around the world. Prof Membrane mentions that he needed to do something for them in exchange for their services, but what that was is still unknown.
- Prof Membrane rejected an application because this person had no talent whatsoever, which is kind of blunt and cruel but it could be true
- The shadowy figure is really shadowy, meaning that they can make themselves like that through cartoon logic. So characters with only small or no cartoonish stats such as Kyle and Morty are crossed out. This is speculation however as it's not a solid theory and other characters can cloak themselves, but it still seems to be the case so far
- The shadowy figure could either be the traitor or someone who isn't present in the killing game at all. If they are present in the killing game, then Dib, Gaz, Star, Kyle, Morty, Blossom, Bubbles, Jenny, Charlotte, Ed and Eddy are out. Star has already been applied, Bubbles, Blossom, Dib, Gaz, Jenny and Morty were applied by their parents and are also considered scientific in Prof. Membrane's eyes, Kyle didn't intend to apply but Cartman did it anyways, Charlotte's too happy-go-lucky and kinda stupid to care if she didn't get in and Ed and Eddy both applied with Edd, meaning that their acceptance to Hope's Peak was legitimate, this is evident in the prologue as well when they questioned where Double D went.
- If they are not present in the killing game, then the shadowy figure could be from a different cartoon since it's confirmed that there's more than the aforementioned nine cartoons shown in this killing game
My guess on who the cartoon Prof Membrane partnered up with could be the Total Drama Crew.
Reasons being that Total Drama is a globally broadcasted show as seen in Total Drama World Tour and their partnership deal could be based on the fact if the show can garner as much if not more views than the Total Drama show.
Not to mention,its not out of Chris's character to make contestants on the show suffer. However,seeing that this is based of danganronpa where characters will inevitably die...I'm not too sure how the show would not be shut down by the law.
Perhaps the characters dont really die but think they are dead,kind of like danganronpa 2 where they are in a virtual world or sorts.

But it still begs the question of how would the show still be running despite the characters' dying. My guess is that since cartoons like Rick and Morty and South Park where death is common exists in this world, people would perhaps see it as normal and claim that it's an act and that they'll come back. But when it's revealed that they are actually killed, that's when people would start drawing the line.
Though I doubt that having a killing game show was in the contract when Prof. Membrane signed the agreement, other people like Professor Utonium and Jenny's creator would definitely object to having their kids go through a traumatic game

Another candidate who could be able to pull something like this off would be Bill Cipher. I mean having the powers to manipulate reality would explain the different types of art styles being meshed all together. And his whole shtick is making deals with people by being cunning and twisting some parts of the deal/contract.

some random theories i got on this vid:
1- The assistant. They mentioned the assistant was some sort of "Ultimate Scientist", so, it'd make sense if the assistant was Rick.
2- The shadowy person. The shadowy person had a very round head. The four people I remember who had a round head were: Vendetta, Charlotte, Bubbles and Blossom. BUT since they said they had been rejected, I think the shadowy person, is none other than Buttercup. First, she's not a participant. Second, in the show, there was an episode who was all about Buttercup finding their secret talent. I think that episode relates to this.

If Cartman had a talent, it would be something more on the lines of Ultimate Schemer or Prankster. It also makes sense for Cartman to be a possible mastermind since he's capable of planning complex schemes (example; Scott Tenorman's chili). (This one might be horribly confusing since almost everyone is talking about how Dipper is a Decoy Protag, but I think Blossom is gonna try to get the group together so no one dies. One day, Blossom and Jenny are having an argument [probably something small like curfews], and when she pushes Jenny in anger, Jenny will retaliate and hit her as hard as possible, accidentally killing her in the process.)
CHP 2 Victim: Star Butterfly
CHP 2 Killer: Morty Smith
(This is is definitely a work in progress, This is just a random idea really.)
CHP 3 Victim: Charlotte

(I heard some people say that Charlotte will be the Mastermind, but I just don't see it. No joke, she literally has no intelligence. AT ALL. CHP 5 Victim: Dipper Pines(?)

(This will, obviously, be the most heart-wrenching trial yet. Dib will take on Dipper's place for this trial, though it might be harder since Dib only deals with paranormal activity. Mabel [reasonably] is going to be a giant mess during this trial, accusing people left and right. So why is Ed the killer? You see, SOMEONE tricks Ed into believing that if he "whacks someone one the head really hard" and gets away with it, then he can leave with Eddy. This will obviously not be true and turns out to be a trap to get rid of Dipper.)
CHP 6: This will be "The Mastermind Trial", but before the trial begins the remaining survivors find Professor Membrane... He's alive, just tied up and a bit underfed. When the trial beings, Prof. Membrane is the prime suspect of being the Mastermind, but it's then revealed that he was kidnapped and forced to watch the game. So, who is responsible for the killing game?

You see, Cartman stormed into Membrane's office, pissed that KYLE didn't get accepted by him (Why? Because he wanted to make KYLE suffer in the academy for being a Jew). When he is told that KYLE appears to have absolutely no talent, he gets angry and attacks Membrane. He then decides that the best way to prove that KYLE deserves to be enrolled... Is by putting him in a killing game with 15 "better" students. He designed the game to make sure that Kyle will be the last one standing.
So in the end, the Mastermind is defeated, and these several people step out of the Academy-

why is my brain immediately defaulting towards mandy (from grim adventures) being the shadowy figure or something?? i mean she has the grim reaper but she has no specific talent, and the person seemed to be really angry about the rejection and that's one of mandy's defining traits and it's likely that's how she would react (the person was also insulting the professor). it also kinda makes sense for someone like her to be the mastermind or something, but maybe that's just me bc i love billy and mandy so much sbabfjxhdb.... regardless tho im super excited for the continuation of this series!

Its possible Lincoln is very smart when making plans and he has multiple sisters plus he able to deal with them. Since these are 15 students i doubt he cant deal with them. Plus most of the talents in the game is scientific while Lincoln is the ultimate planner that all he is.

...Huh. This is really making me think. At first I could’ve sworn that “shadowy figure” was Zim based on the dialogue but now... I’m not totally sure. I don’t want to rule it out entirely since I guess maybe Membrain’s attitude towards paranormal stuff like aliens would make him consider Ultimate... um, Ultimate Extraterrestrial Scientist or something like that wasn’t a real talent, but at the same time it could be someone completely different. Just because they sounded a bit like Zim to me doesn’t necessarily mean it *is* Zim after all.
I'm also thinking about the shadowy figure being Zim becauseof his loud tone and dialogue, but I'm also theorizing it could be Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory or Jimmy from Jimmy Neutron since they both are pretty smart but I'm leaning away from Jimmy more since he's more of a inventor than an "Ultimate Scientist" and the fact there aren't any 3D cartoon characters in Cartoons in Danganronpa.

fact Prof. Membrane says "In fact, the whole shadowy blur thing makes it hard to tell anything about you." which could mean the shadowy figure has a lot of cartoonish and can make them seem like just a shadowy blur by cartoon logic. It'd be fairly ironic if Dexter had high cartoonish on his stats since cartoon logic defies any and all laws of science.

They're enrolled to Hope's Peak in the first place, and they've been revealed except for the ultimate scientist (who can't be Rick. They're a student, meaning nada an adult. Possibly Mandark or Dexter) On the document in the description of the Meet the Characters vid, it says a description of themselves and why they're enrolled as well. This rules out Zim and Cartmann.
OK so this is probably a ridiculous stretch but why do I feel like "Monokuma's" voice was actually much closer to Mickey Mouse's voice? Does Mickey Mouse have something to do with all this?
Honestly, can't wait to see what the creators of CiDR have cooked up. I firmly believe you all will present your own storyline and not follow THH, SDR2 or V3 as imitating the plot of each would be too predictable for us to figure out.

Y’all not talking about how the Ultimate Scientist could be Rick?
So someone else made this theory but Eric might be the mastermind/the shadowy figure in talents... and hes not talking about him not being talented but Kyle. I mean his ultimate talent is very unexpected and cartman is unexpected and could be behind the killing game
Theories: I believe the sone of the professor would either be a protagonist or antagonist. This is because he is very intelligent and more.
2: If the shadowy person is gonna be the traitor. Then we can cross off three people. The green scientist, the paranormal kid, and star because the principal said he enlisted them. Also we got to consider which people might not have a good talent. Kyle seem like the one who don’t have a talent for example a Jew is a religion and can’t be granted a talent. Also the traitor in each game was someone we least expected and Kyle in the show was the nicest guy and would make sense that we would cross him out on murdering.
3: The mastermind. I am gonna use the villains from each character shows to see who could kidnap them all. All we need is the motive, the opportunity, and supply. Aka: I will not use dead villains, people like Rick, or villains from other cartoons. There is one person who could do this, smart and powerful enough to capture and erase these people memories. He have plenty of motives on why he done it. He have the opportunity. That person is Bill Cipher. Bill is powerful entity that can control time and space, also could cause chaos around in seconds. And yes I know this events took place after weirdmaggedon and Bill Die after it but there is proof he is alive. If you want to see the proof then search up film theory Bill is alive and Rick and Morty crossover they will explain how Bill is alive. Ok back now great, Bill motive is against these heroes and mostly Dipper and Mabel. Also am I the only one who find weird that Morty is here. Unless Bill kidnap Morty, also I believe Bill just stole the bear from the danganronpa universe make sense to me. But hey it is just a theory and this series will be awesome!
Kyle outright didn't want to attend. He was accepted because Cartman did it as a joke but he was given the green anyway, and his own parents encouraged him to do it, so he decided to make the most of it with his belief system.
Kyle is probably the cleanest kid here.
Mobile User I know but still what is Kyle Talent. Also he would be the least expected to be a traitor. Also depend on the situation I think Kyle would be like chiaki and Sakura.

Christian Melendez That could be true. Evil Morty is a genius so capturing some of these people would be a problem. And I think evil Morty could be a potential suspect.

Dib kills zim and frames dipper for it because of the journal
Charlotte kills bubbles because of jealousy and frames it on vendetta
Evil morty revealed to be mastermind and stewie was the one who build monokuma
Survivors dipper mabel star kyle gaz ed vendetta
I was thinking what if Dib is like the protag of DR2? Eh, eh? It's possible.
Or maybe V3, but something has to happen to the Dipper before being sure :/

Ight theory time: based on what prof membrane says we know the following

A list of people it could be Cartman, Zim, Gideon, And possibly Candace. Let’s elliminate a few, zim has a talent, that is recognizable as a real talent under prof membranes requirements. Candace isn’t rude. Now we are down to our final 2 Cartman and Gideon. While it would be cool for Cartman to be the mastermind Gideon makes more sense, for a few reasons,.
1 there is a bill cypher Easter egg is one of the vids, which made me think, who from gravity falls made a deal with the razzle dazzle dorito, GIDEON
2 what could gideons talent be, at first I thought influencer, but then that didn’t make sense, so I thought harder, and came up with this; ultimate warlock, think about it would go great with “you have no talent” and in the later seasons on grav falls Gideon turns to dark magic and making deals with bill.

I dont really think it can be candice because you can see from the sillohette that the person is rather small and round and candice is big, skinny and has a long neck. Besides i dont really think shes rude and self obsessed she just has an unhealthy obssesion with busting her brothers. I personally think its cartman but think whatever you want.

@@invadersel3025 bluu is possible. Cant be squidward (sea creature, can't survive anove ground without magic, and plus is an adult), dexter, mandark (is teen iirc), mac, or Rick (adult for crying out loud). Or heck, even Jimmy (who has the same talent as dexter)
While dexter has the same demeanor as the fogure in the vid, he at least is super smart. Bluu has the same demeanor too iirc, plus not being much of a talent filled person (aside from The Ultimate Imaginary Friend)

The dialogue seems a bit off, but after the alternate perspective exposition we got from Blossom, the case for Buttercup seems to be stronger than ever.
So i know a lot of people are guessing that the shadowy person is butter cup, because of the episode where it is shown that her only talent is curling her tounge, but wouldn't her being a good fighter, more so then her sisters be counted as a talent? I suggest. That its infact princess Morebucks from the power puff girls. Because she actually had no talents, every power and scheme she had was payed for. And the cloaked figure (who we assume is the same character) said "fine if they wont accept me, i wont accept them" like a spoiled child who isnt getting what she wanted.
